If these studies and degrees were isolated to just those departments I wouldn’t care. The problem is they are trying to take over and infest every department in the name of diversity. They de facto want everyone to major in social justice with a minor in engineering, accounting, etc.

Good point. In the late 90s, it was the war between Lowder and the Plainsman editor(s) that nearly resulted in the journalism school going bye bye. Lowder was their favorite boogeyman for a good long time, some earned and some not.
