Northeast Atlanta. Its like you people post shite about Atlanta based on what you see at the airport or in Downtown. All the northeast neighborhoods are predominately white just like all the southwest neighborhoods are predominately black. Anyone is free to go to either and do whatever they want.

"you people" - I'm from here

Again, name a commercial district where this is true (it's not).

Not sure why you are trying to add this qualifier? The northeast Atlanta neighborhoods - Morningside, Ansley Park, Virginia Highland, Poncey Highland, Inman Park, etc are extremely white and all of them have retail areas.

I've lived in Collier Hills, Buckhead proper (x2) and Loring Heights.

The point is that there is no meaningful "white part of town" where this woman would have to go to the doctor. Every retail district of any size is mixed to very mixed. Even in your whitest areas it would not be uncommon to see black people there.

The inverse isn't true, there are certainly parts of Atlanta where white faces are not common. But I don't think it's at all true in the way she says, especially in any areas where you'd have commercial activity (medical offices).

No. I'm asking where do you live now in 2026? I don't care where you lived in 2016.

The 'white' part of town are the neighborhoods I listed and I didn't even name the ones that comprise Buckhead that are primarily white so yes they absolutely do exist. Just like the black part of town exist such as Cascade Heights, West End, Adair Park, Oakland City, Venetian Hills, Mozley Park, Westview, and Adams Park etc where you aren't going to see too many 'white' faces. Either way nobody here calls them the 'white' and 'black' part of town people making an attention seeking "look at me" Twitter video excluded.

Why is she not seeing a black doctor?

She is making one of two unintended claims here.

1) There are no black doctors in her area due to the problems of the area.

2) She doesn't want to see a black doctor because she thinks a white one is more competent.

Were you even here yet in 2016? I live in SS.

I live in one comparable to what you're talking about. You're so patterned to give your knee jerk reaction to the "Atlanta is black thing" that it's skewing your takes on this. There was a black on black murder in your backyard like a week ago that made national news. Atlanta is not meaningfully segregated (at least in this direction) in a way most of the country would understand.

I was in Old Fourth Ward from 2002 to 2018. Inman Park from 2018 to 2021. Virginia Highland from 2021 to 2025. Morningside from 2026 to when I die basically I'm done buying and selling houses. So, I've been here a longtime. I can go three or four days without seeing a black face while running errands or walking around the neighborhood. It is what it is.

As far as home ownership and neighborhoods it basically is. Her video was nothing but trying to seek attention. Imagine driving on North Highland, Monroe, or even Ponce and being worried or scared in 2026. Its laughable.
