Yep. But the real fun begins tonight.
Last night, it was too soon to see a major effect. Now we’re heading into a weekend and the crowd knows that the cops aren’t responding to shite.

I'm sure the APD wouldn't advertise they have no officers but it seems people on the ground would have an idea if there is a notably lower presence.
Yeah just curious 5% or 50%
$500 seems like desperate move

Plus we have to see how many officers take the $500 bonus offer then spend the entire shift working the missing elderly person (we found her at the donut shop).

It reminds me of one of the last stages of the revolution in Romania
Ceaucescu held a speech in front of the army and eventually they started ignoring him and walking off. He desperately started offering inducements to them to stay and they kept going.
He was lined up against a wall and shot within a few days.

haven't heard anything about it in the past 4 hours on Fox.
Harris Faulkner just mentioned it about 30-45 minutes ago.

I have a relative who is retired NOPD.
Family joke was that we’d always tell him when we saw him that we missed seeing him on the news whenever other NOPD got busted.
His response was always along the lines of “You have to do something in order for that to happen. I don’t do anything at all.”

younger. I just grabbed my shotgun, and confronted the intruder.
There was no fear, no hesitation.

Which was obviously incorrect...later in the article.

Earlier suggestions that multiple officers from each zone had walked off the job were inaccurate.

Were they sent by their departments or did they just head down on their own with resume in hand?

Based on the doctors I know, I wouldn't think this would be a problem. "Doc, my athletes foot is itching real bad" "See my nurse on the way out for an excuse, take a couple of days off"

Athletes foot?? I thought it was Jock itch,

A lot more blacks will die because of the BLM BS.

It was about "abandoning presincts" ...which never happened but feel free to cherry pick without any type of context.

These must be all the "good cops" we keep hearing about.
If you cannot stand to be tried for murder for doing your job, we don't want you working for us.
FIFY.
By the way, if you think police are violent, wait til there aren’t any police and armed citizens have to start defending themselves against criminals without them. You haven’t even been able to imagine in your pathetic lifetime the extreme level of violence a citizen defending his/her home and family is capable of, let alone groups of them who band together.
Folks that are calling police violent might just be about to see what true violence against criminals looks like. And taxpayers will save tons of money not having to hold trials or incarcerate violent criminals.
Nobody will be able to blame the police for the violence, either.
