Yup. Reminds me of the smooth brains who thought that dude in Utah should've been arrested in a busy grocery store instead of at his house.

Word on the OT thread is that he was doing some really bad things with confiscated guns and allowing certain folks to pass through without any scrutiny.

This may be a legit case

They could have done it a little later in the morning, but this was a search warrant. It will be served at his home, not at his job.

Why, though? (Sincere question)

Nah. I'd have done it earlier.

To avoid the scenario where an innocent homeowner wakes up and thinks he's being robbed and shoots first, and either gets buried by LEO or charged with 1st degree murder.

If this is a guns case, it's not like he can flush them down the toilet.

It would be interesting to see how many/month times the feds do no knock raids before sun up. And how many result in the discharge of a gun.

Does that apply here, or are you generally curious?

Generally firing at LEOs serving a search warrant ends badly for the shooter.

I saw nothing in that article about the raid be "no knock."

So you're making an assumption not based on facts.

You can’t have an armed Government raid without the name “Clinton” being involved.
