Someone busts into your home as you are startled awake at 6am. How do you know they are the regional MS13 house invader country invaders?

What don't you get?

If I go look through all the old Breonna Taylor threads, I will see you "saying her name" this emotionally, right?

Fine, Breonna Taylor. I said it, now admit the ATF has blood on their hands and some of these aholes should be detained and prosecuted.

If a load of cops are at my door at 6 a.m., I will likely be home (unless I'm fishing) and I will always be awake. Regardless of how loudly they knock, I know the difference between a crack head and a large number of cops.

If I start shooting, I will be shot.

When the agents kick at your door, you ask if they have a warrant and if they do, they have the right to enter. If they just kick in the door, you have little choice but to let them do their search and try to sort it out later.

Or I can start shooting, in which case I will be shot.

He sounds like he might be a shithead.

That doesn't mean that the raid wasn't designed to provoke a confrontation.

This is bullshite. Large numbers of cops and swat people sneak up on people every day. And nobody has said if they knocked at all. They very well may have busted the door in as the first noise they made. We don't know.

Which is why this should be on the government to handle these situations in a different way. The guy may be a complete POS criminal, but if you put a man in a position of defending his home against unknown aggressors, bad shite is almost certain to happen.

That gives me the option to destroy evidence at another location or GTFO.

You just said you were concerned about him destroying evidence at home. Which is it? And is the ATF so understaffed that they can't serve 2 search warrants and keep an eye on the subject?

You're all over the place on this one. He may very well be a bad actor, but they got what they wanted with the 0600 raid. A shootout that could have been avoided, just like Waco could have been avoided.

Waco, and Ruby Ridge, and a thousand other cases where the government abused its power which resulted in death.

As usual, federal agents showed up and executed him. Worthless people. Defund and disband them.

Sorry if it wasn't clear. That part you quoted was the "I'm doing dirt and am at work while my home camera shows LEO searching my residence" scenario.

They didn't have info for a 2nd location. The search may have provided that information. Or PC for an arrest.

He may very well be a bad actor,

If you read the search warrant, it's pretty clear he was not getting out of this charge.

Now, as for the search, nothing (credible, at least) has indicated this was a no knock warrant or anything that extreme. The report I read was there were 2 agents who went to serve the warrant, dindu shot one and then was shot. I haven't read anything about no knocks or knocking down his door or anything dramatic. If ole baw was going to open fire there, he would have opened fire anywhere.

If people start going to their houses with the same intent/results a few times, ATF would dissolve in a week.

Still waiting for anything that says this is how it actually went down.

Stop fabricating information to justify your emotional outbursts.

We don't know either way. We do know that it happens all too often. We also know that if you put a man in a position to defend his home and family, that's exactly what many men will do, whether a criminal or a saint.

Why would your assumptions be any better or more accurate than anyone else's? Is it not crystal clear that the government has been guilty of this exact scenario and much worse? Did an ATF agent not headshot Randy Weaver's wife as she was holding his small child?
