How does it feel being a white supremacist?

I can't help but wonder how that yahoo would react if a black Trump supporter wore MAGA apparel. Would he still see it as a personal attack?

As a serious response - it is akin to Baader-Meinhof phenomenon. If you become interested in buying a new silver Chevy Tahoe...suddenly you start seeing more silver Chevy Tahoes.

In this case, if you are looking for "offense"...suddenly, "offense" is everywhere.

It is compounded by his desire to conflate "offensiveness" with anything he dislikes.

I’m honestly baffled how many African-Americans view a MAGA hat as racist. Did I miss something that Donald Trump has done that indicates he’s racist toward African-Americans?

I am the same. The ONLY thing I can think of is that they say that the slogan "Make America Great Again" is supposed to mean take us back to the 1950's when blacks were treated worse. It makes no damn sense to me since President Trump has done nothing but help these people and any politician in their right mind knows they need a percentage of those votes...why would they be racist?

A gang banger wears a red bandana. People with red bandanas are out to rob me or sell me drugs.

Why do people allow these freaks to get away with logic that they would abhor if the tables were turned.

The deadly assault grin strikes again. Did we learn nothing from the damage caused by the Covington boy?

I think this all the time, except the problem is worse because at least the identification of silver Chevy Tahoes is objective. Two people might look at a situation and one think it is racist and/or offensive and another person will not. So if a person is looking to find racism everywhere, they will.

Of course we have to acknowledge the opposite as well, that if you think everything is fine, you might overlook acts of racism (or sexism or whatever).

The difference (or at least one difference) is one gets more attention than the other. No media outlet goes "professor teaches class, nobody was racist".

A lot of them claim America never was great, so to Make America Great Again is code for "let's return to Jim Crow's America."

Assuming a white person in a maga hat is racist is no different than assuming a black kid in a hoodie is a thief/up to no good. Wonder how the prof feels about those type of profiling

He also said that "an informal survey of my colleagues revealed that no other law faculty had experienced any students wearing such propaganda in their classes, which furthered my contention that this student was indeed trying to intimidate and/or racially antagonize me."

Or, maybe, none of those professors had that student that day?
