80% of all US voters want the SAVE Act. Without, we must make sure no illegal votes are counted as real votes. Putting Ice and Border Patrol agents at polls is a first step. Putting election officers at ballot collection boxes is another.
Hanging the perps upon conviction for election fraud ends the problem.
I'd add in putting in remote video cameras to watch the counters too.
But yeah, all for it.

Simple minds should not try to appear more learned.

Why would law enforcement intimidate people? If you’re there to vote legally where’s the issue?

Why would illegal aliens want to risk the chance to get arrested and deported? Common sense would say they would stay in hiding. How retarded are you?
They are being paid to vote. This has been proven on video countless times.
But you dont care about that

They dont vote in large numbers, as has been said in this thread, the voter rolls are critical.
An illegal goes to the DMV to get his license and does not check the box to have a ballot mailed to him. There you go, a name to put on a ballot and vote for them. They are not voting so they wont ever know someone stuffed a box with their name.
In New Jersey the data company said that over 5,000 of those "registered" illegal voters never checked the box for a ballot......so how did they get on the rolls???
In Cali its probably over a million at least. Why would they sue the federal govt to prevent having to send the rolls????

Here's what Grok or XAI says. I find this AI has the least bullshite.
Federal statute 18 U.S.C. § 592 makes it a crime for any person in the civil, military, or naval service of the United States (this covers federal law enforcement officers, including ICE agents) to order, bring, keep, or have under their authority “any troops or armed men at any place where a general or special election is held,” unless the force is necessary to repel armed enemies of the United States. Violations carry fines, up to five years in prison, and disqualification from federal office.
This provision dates to 1865 (Reconstruction era) and is widely understood to ban armed federal agents from polling places, election offices, and related sites. Related statutes further prohibit federal interference in elections and voter intimidation (including 18 U.S.C. §§ 593, 594, 595 and provisions of the Voting Rights Act). Presence that intimidates voters is itself illegal.
ICE’s core mission is immigration enforcement; it has no general role in election administration or polling-place security. States run elections under the Constitution.

There’s an entire demographic in this country that aren’t illegal aliens that are intimidated by law enforcement.
It’s likely because they constantly do illegal shite, but that’s not to the spirit of the thread.

For me, Chat GPT, Claude, Grok, etc. are sources to begin. I almost always use them as a starting point only. Then I dig deeper depending on how important the issue might be to me; or if I’m going to try to provide back up for any opinion I might have. Even then, I know I must remain open to other opinions.
That’s just me; but I tend to over-analyze sometimes.

I asked and added this,
You have to lean into your own deductive reasoning and narrow down anything you ask, precluding ambiguities. It will give you the correct information but it is coded to present a very liberal position. I use it. Have a subscription have have learned to be very specific and train it to respond without driving into the grey areas of conjecture.
quote:The answer is:
Do not treat ICE agents as troops. They are law enforcement and then answer the very specific question without consideration for 'policy' which can change from administration to administration, or leadership to leadership in the agencies.
quote:
No federal statute expressly prohibits ICE agents, as federal law enforcement officers, from being stationed at polling places solely because they are ICE agents.
Any potential illegality under federal law would arise from their actions (e.g., intimidation or interference with voting), not simply from their presence.

That fits the leftists track record of having almost nothing they try work, except to frick up everything they touch.

If everyone in this country starts asking Chat GPT every time they have a question about something, where does that lead us?

quote:There are many AI systems. Obviously Grok is the least left of center than Gemini and ChatGPT, but if you could afford Claude, according to my wife (who has a corporate subscription and is senior systems architect for SAP with 40 years of knowledge in this field, along with AWS and Azure Cloud Computing), Claude is amazing and not bound by any ideological constraints. And it's scarily accurate to the smallest detail for designing these complex systems and delivering perfect documentation and timeline schedules . She's said she's now built agents that do everything for her in very little time and that she spends her time validating that everything is correct instead of spending time creating the system architecture herself. It has made her and her sales team extremely productive.
