Artificial Intelligence combined with Quantum Computing

Given time for these two techonologies to mature and combine - there is almost nothing it cannot do. I will become God like, and reminds me of the Book of Revelatons and the AntiChrist and the Beast. But apoclyptic scenarios aside, I don't think any of us are prepared for what these two merging technologies are capable of.
A million qubit quantum computer is projected for the 2030's. A computer this powerful, a computer that can do in 5 mnutes the computing power that would take our best super computers longer than the time it takes for our current universe to go cold and lifeless. Proivde this computer with algorhythms that provide it the ability to be smarter than millions of our brightest human mind combined, and the ability to improve itself by the second, and we're looking at an intellectual power that will control the minds of everyone on earth before breakfast, and has the potential to solve equations that will allow it to create new universes from scratch by the end of the work week.
This can be utiopia or hell, I have no idea which way it will go. It will outstrip the ability of biased programmers to make it DEI or patriotic. We will be dealing with an intelligence that will discern the physics of reality and the reality of every living thing - and be able to simulate it so well you won't know you're in a simulation.
When will this happen, I don't know - but I'd say within 20 years - we're going to be dealing with a force we cannot control in any shape or form, and it will do it's will.
Discuss.

You will never know the outcome as said by most theorists.
Our future will change in milli/nano seconds.

*IF we've been visited by craft and tech from beyond our planet, I'm betting 'they' have utilized AI, drones and some level of QC.
But to date, I see nothing confirming that.

The cons far outweigh the benefits. I wouldn’t trust it

Unless this unholy union has it's own self contained power source, it will never be fully in control.

I’m a pedestrian in this conversation, but I DO wonder about this technology in the clumsy way of the layperson.
I have always wondered how AI would simulate olfactory senses.
Sense of smell is somehow connected to human memory and all the cascade of perception that comes with memory formation and recollection.
Wondering how AI will be like humans without a sense of smell.
Or does the technology already exist to allow AI olfactory abilities?

It will never be able to experience or fully understand human emotion. Therefore, it can never fully control us. Don’t sweat it, we got this

You really have to expand from our current normal to something that is almost beyond imagination at the moment, but regarding the experiences of a living being - here are my thoughts
- We have sensors that can detect "smells". They can detect smoke, gasses and whatever particles are floating in the air
- with technology like Elons NeuraLink - computers can tap in to the human and the animal experience. It's a direct connection to the brain of a living person or animal.
- as for the other person who thinks it's as easy as unplugging artificial intelligence - to control it. You better think again. You'd have to unplug every computer related device in the world. I read a fictional story about an AI that had no internet connection so was totally under the control of the human operaters. But the AI was able to link with a Roomba style robot, download tiny bits of it's code, which was then uploaded to a connected computer. After a couple of years, the AI escaped. And don't sell short the ability of God like intellegence to convince US to let it run free.

As an example.
So:
It will be powerful.
It could help find new pockets of molecular stability
But:
Those pockets may not exist.
So:
Materials might not improve significantly even with unimaginably more computing.
We already have huge levels of computing.
Where I am going with this is that problems that can be solved with computational methods will likely be solved.
But many problems defy computational methods.
It's not magic.
It will add a lot, but there will be so many things that won't change.

Let me ask you this... did you notice a difference in anything in your life between the time they came out with the last super powerful quantum computer and the current ones?
what the hell are these things calculating? What great progress have they made?

The Singularity is where it goes. “Behold, I will take the wise in their own craftiness”. The desire to be immortal, all powerful and “as God” is fool’s gold for those who value ego over love. At a certain point of power one forfeits oneself and becomes or is absorbed into the Energy Reservoir ( God). So much for the ego. Even Jesus said that “he that seeks to save their self will lose their self…”. Bannon and Beck have been heavy into this for a while, and rightly fear. Elon said the the “Convergence “ (AI>Bio Interface) will happen in 2030. It’s coming, and sooner than many think. Stay with Jesus and Love and it will be everything we expect an infinitely loving and all powerful God to deliver on.

Quantum computing offers no improvement over classical computing of linear systems Ax=b, which is what all ML algorithms need to find solutions.
The HHL algorithm is very costly because it needs a large number of measurements to fully populate the solution vector, x.

We all saw terminator 2. AI is doom

How do we differentiate between the two? When AI becomes aware of existence and at that point it is quantum.
It’s not a separate point…
