This gun regulation was a Trump directive.

"The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives outlawed the attachments at President Donald Trump's direction after the Las Vegas gunman rained fire from his high-rise hotel suite on concertgoers, killing 58 people in the deadliest mass shooting in modern U.S. history."

Same here. One shot kill out to 350 yds.

And I have an old 12ga Remington 1100 semi auto for close in work.

I’d be a good side kick for someone else similarly armed and similarly motivated.

Not a fan of gas-operated autos. Always seemed to jam in cold weather...

Unfortunately - in today’s environment - yes. Bump stocks are silly and only good for momentary thrill of pretending to have a machine gun or for shooting into masses of unaware people.

I have no desire for either of those. BUT - the tactic of the DEMOCRATS is to get the nose of the camel under the tent so they can leverage that concession into larger capitulation.

Example - Roe v Wade escalated from “rare and safe procedure to save the life of the mother” into planned infanticide funded by taxpayers.

So NO - no compromise on guaranteed rights until the DEMOCRAT party rejoins the ranks of moral and responsible citizens.

Exactly, you can't give up anything because then they move on to the next foothold. I don't have a bump stock but if someone wants one they should be able to purchase them.

Revolvers aren’t very popular these days. Let’s ban them!

I think that this law should be enforced vigorously.

If you have a bump sock, please inform your local law enforcement and have them come by and pick it up

If you want to get rid of a bad law, have it enforced vigorously.

Unless they destroy their previously BATFE approved property.

Should the gov't be able to make them illegal without compensation? I think they cost around $300 each.
this is my question as well. Seems to be constitutionally suspect.

I'd love to get worked up about this novelty item, but I just can't find the energy to because we have -far- more pressing demons to purge.

Im there too. It’s, for all intents and purposes, a full auto modification.

This does not apply to me.

Unfortunately, I lost all my guns in a tragic boating accident.

Regarding which issues have the democrats refused to dig a trench? This is why the ultimate creep of this country is to the left.

Had they not passed the bill, this would have all been forgotten by now and another bit of freedom wouldn't have been flushed away.
