Not a very good test. It basically says that I am an An-Cap, and I most definitely am not. To the contrary, I am a pretty pragmatic libertarian.

I wouldn't know, I don't take any of those stupid tests. It was just the first link on my google search.

After so many years of reading Zach's nonsense, I just can't take him seriously anymore.

There is a word for whining about "the other side" doing exactly the same things that your side does ... projection.

The World's Smallest Political Quiz is actually pretty damned accurate. You don't just answer Y or N. You rate the strength/importance of your position on each question.

Translation: I cannot think of one position that Zach has taken on this board that disputes his libertarianism. I feel really stupid and really embarrassed. So, I shall use emoticons.

Really pathetic, Wild.

That is a correct translation.

1. I never wrote an essay on Libertarianism.
2. I wasn't one in HS.
3. I didn't read Time Mag.
4. You've never heard that story here because I never posted it.

Congrats on being so wrong on so many things in just two short sentences. If I'm gonna get stupidity (which is all you come with) I like it concise.

Maybe we're tracking different boards. Trump is not pleased with the budget. I certainly am not. I don't recall many carrying that water. Perhaps I overlooked those threads. You seem to have some in mind though, and you're probably correct. Post links to them.

I never said I did, Zach, I was only anticipating another one of your ridiculous, folksy stories that go nowhere except to give us all a glimpse into the dimly lit world that is your mind.

But alas, you have none on this topic. I have the sads.

You notice those posts more, because they stand-out from the mob.

Of course, there is also the fact that I am uniformly accused of lying when I post those of my views which are Right of center.

For some reason, the bulk of the posters on this forum seem to have trouble grasping that libertarians agree with THEM alot of the time and DISAGREE with them almost as often.

I mean........that test calls me a libertarian..........and I do trend libertarian. But it's a horrible test! LOL.

Hell. Using that test, I almost think Bernie would land about dead middle.

No, it's because you bend over backwards to be contrarian on anything Trump-related and are openly hostile to those who support the POTUS. Any 50/50 ball regarding the current administration or what most on the right hold fast to, you're going left on. It's your thing, but it's more than just "standing out from the mob," and you know it.

Some do, based on your usual behavior. I personally am just as vocal when I agree with you as when I disagree, and give props accordingly (not that you seek them, of course, but that's neither here nor there).

This depends greatly on the libertarian in question. I have a pretty dang strong libertarian streak myself, so I understand the dynamic more than most hardcore righties, but the issue here isn't that you're libertarian. You're hardly the only one on this board but you're one of the most hostile towards Trump/Trump supporters. There's a great deal of variance among libertarians. The interesting thing, though, is that in the current sociopolitical climate, more libertarian positions are closer to the center-right than that which leftists espouse.

Yet you tend to gravitate toward the latter more often than not, especially if Trump's name is invoked. That's why you're received how you are on this site.

I've yet to see one of those tests that's not specifically agenda driven. I'm not even saying that as a point of criticism for them being so, more than saying, whenever I try to "take" one it's too hard for me not to figure out what they are looking for, which makes it difficult to answer honestly knowing such.

I've taken a few decent ones. There have been a few on this board where easily 90% of the charts people posted landed exactly where I expected them to.

Most of them are quite long though and even those, most people complain about this or that question. But that's because they don't understand that's the point.

Just like effective personality tests, the goal is to ask questions from having obvious answers depending on your view to questions that seem to have conflicting ones.

But that link in this thread was just LOL. Basically, it's designed to mop up nearly everyone who is mildly right of center into the Libertarian camp.

Someone has to do it, but at least once a week, I give Trump props on something or agree with something he is doing.

I certainly agree that I am hostile to those who seem to think that the man can do no wrong ... and there are many such posters. Blind sycophancy annoys me as much among GOP voters as among Dems (who were just as bad about Obama). I find it highly entertaining to see that the posters who deride blind adherence to Dem dogma are UNIFORMLY the worst about blind adherence to "conservative" dogma.

Bandit and Shorty are just two examples of Trump supporters with whom I have NEVER had a cross word ... because they are both civil and reasonable.

This is always entertaining to me, because every ideology quiz I take puts me right-of-center for libertarians ... and actually in the bottom-right quadrant (more "authoritarian" than the mean for a libertarian). Of course, this still makes me FAR less authoritarian than the average GOP voter AND far less "conservative."
