I think warfare has changed so dramatically over the years, and believe the US is so well prepared, that nobody wants to get into a conflict with the US.

I am also very optimistic about strategic defenses in the US preventing anything from reaching US soil.

1. There are at least 20 wars going on all the time. The press only covers the US and Europe. Africa has a bunch. Those tribes really hate each other.
