We're definitely going to support behind the scenes. Satellite telemetry, target analysis etc..., but OP asked about us getting directly involved which will never happen unless Iran has developed a nuke and uses it or some craziness.

Absolutely. Israel's friend is God's friend, and my friend as well. Israel's enemy is God's enemy and my enemy as well.
Barack Obama's radical Islamic pal (Iran) must be ground into sand. They are the primary supporter of terrorism in the world. Plus remember this, if and when Iran gets their hands on the Nuke.....the whole world is in great danger. Nothing more dangerous than a radicalized Islamic religious zealot nation with a nuclear bomb.
President Trump was able to kill Qassem Soleimani, who led Iran’s elite Quds force. Ground him up into hamburger. We need to kill more of these Iranian demons.......a lot more.

I think as far as the eyes of the world are concerned, Hezbollah is Iran. Which is accurate. So now with two carrier groups in the Mediterranean, should Hezbollah/Iran take further advantage of what’s already been taken advantage of……our standing on the world stage takes a great hit if we do nothing, while we standby and watch innocent civilians of an ally are cut to pieces, metaphorically and literally. Again, all the while we have our carrier groups right offshore. They’ve been called to task for a purpose, and I just don’t believe it’s for the very outside shot that Iran proper introduces to the world a nuke. JMO, I certainly claim no advanced knowledge in the area.
**ETA…..this isn’t directed to you, just a general observation for some others: Where are all of our self-proclaimed Reagan purists who like to drop his name and legacy…..while at the exact same time being pussies who want to shrink from the world stage, the one that RR himself made so much effort to embolden the American moral compass by snuffing out immediate threats to our principles and those who share them? For everyone saying no here is what you don't understand...if Israel gets defeated then America is the next target. Would you prefer us taking out the bad guys over there or wait until they are pulling terrorist acts on our soil?

I've served before and would again. Some of y'all have no clue on how much the Muslim countries hate America and would be happy to see us destroyed. If we don't support Israel then when they come for us we will be alone.

A Squadron of A-10's has been sent to Israel. Close ground support and missile launch pad killers.

Remember the two F-35 Pilots escorting drones in international waters. Iranian F-4's were tracking the drones to shoot them down. One F-35 pilot came from below saw the armament the F-4's had on board. Swung over to the left at their level, saw the formation realized he was there. "Guys, I think it's time you went home."
The Iranian Pilots went home..The Iranians saw him, but couldn't see him ....
Hezbollah will be cannon fodder like Hamas. Maybe the squadron of A-10's Worthogs were sent for the Hezbollah front .....If so, it means that at least our military is sending what they perceive will be a much needed advantage for Israel.

We should and will be “involved” to some extent supporting Israel. I don’t envision the U. S. sending in troops, thankfully.

America has peace by showing our strength of power. If we show weakness, to countries who have openly called for our death, it will only make things worse for us. America became a super power because we showed we had the atomic bomb and would use it. Muslim countries only restraint from coming after us is because of our military.
