Are things really that bad in Australia?

I have seen some videos that are just hard to believe. They don’t strike me as the kind of people who would put up with shite like that. Yes, I know they no guns. But it still seems hard to believe they tolerate the shite that is supposedly going down.

I’ve seen the videos of the Australian police assaulting people, young and old women alike, for not wearing a mask or being out of their homes.
They’re not at the murdering their own citizens stage yet but they aren’t far away.

You don't think a people that were perfectly happy giving up their guns wouldn't also be just fine with this?
They are the textbook picture of "oh yes! Govern me harder, daddy! Mmmmm take it all!"

But it wouldn’t really be bad murder. When it’s State murder to keep us safe, it’s ok. Only a racist could disagree.

Have a colleague in perth. Can confirm they are exactly like this.
Only 12% said they were comfortable with any Covid measures that might increase deaths or hospitalizations. Meaning: they are content to give up freedoms if it means saving one life.
If that’s what they want to do as a country, fine. I don’t want that shite here.

It happens in three stages:
1. Repression
2. Concentration
3. Liquidation
Australia is on step 2.

Their elitist leaders are drunk on power and long for Australia to be a prison colony again.

I love(d) Australia. While there are many tough as nails folks, the cities are jam packed with liberals. Gun ownership is definitely something they love to talk to Americans about. Their perception is we have school shootings every week, and they are ignorant of the facts such as legal gun owner % of crimes, black on black violence, etc.
It’s a weird place.

A lot of them are mind fricked and support the gestapo behavior.

I have a professional network connection in Australia. I sent an email a while back with a few links to the things reportedly happening there, and asked if this was overblown by the media or the truth. I’ve yet to get a reply.

I have one theory that I've never seen spoken about or written about. Traditional values of any country tend to stick around in small towns. Wokeness takes root in urban environments.
Australia doesn't have a ton of small towns. Everyone lives in a handful of big cities. IDK, I've never been there.

I have friends and co workers there. I see them posting in support of lockdowns and criticizing protestors whenever it happens. Blows my mind. I’ve said it before here, but one of my friends in Australia is the type that travels the globe for adventure. She will climb mountains. Go to jungles. Visit Asian countries you’ve never heard of, and eat shiat you wouldn’t want to look at. Yet, she is terrified of this virus.
I’m like… you likely picked up a thousand parasites swimming in that water, but you worry about the sniffles?

You know in America we used to just lynch people that did really bad things. So what I'm saying is are they really much different than us?

I wouldn’t think so, but yet they do. Remember, they are still under the crown, and as a culture they pride themselves in all pulling along in the same direction.
George Orwell after all.

Their "Super Bowl" in Sept 2021:
Australian gun ownership 25 years later
It is probably accurate to say that things are never as good as they seem and things are never as bad as they seem. Certain parts of Australia (Melbourne, Sydney) are just as bad as San Francisco and NYC. Other parts like Western Australia are more like TX and FL.
As for their guns, yes they "bought back" 650k guns after the Port Arthur shooting and enacted very strict laws, but they certainly didn't make it illegal to own a gun as many here in the US like to construe.
Not trying to imply that I agree with their authoritarian COVID or gun response, just pointing out that what we see on Twitter isn't always the complete picture.

The AFL grand final is being held in Perth for the first time in front of a sell-out crowd of 60,000 fans at Optus Stadium due to the latest Covid-19 outbreak in Melbourne on a day Victoria recorded 847 new cases, its highest spike in daily infections.
Australian gun ownership 25 years later
quote:
Australian civilians now own more than 3.5 million registered firearms, an average of four for each licensed gun owner.
The proportion of Australians who hold a gun licence has fallen by 48 percent since 1997.
The proportion of Australian households with a firearm has fallen by 75 percent in recent decades.
Data indicates that people who already own guns have bought more rather than an increase in new gun owners.
quote:
“Although several states and territories still refuse to release their firearm licensing data, we know that today about 868,000 Australians have a current gun licence,” says Associate Professor Alpers.
quote:
In the same period, the country’s population grew by 40 percent, from 18.2 million to 25.5 million.
Australian civilians now own more than 3.5 million registered firearms, an average of four each. Private gun owners also hold an estimated 260,000 illegal firearms in the “grey market” of undeclared weapons.
“It’s clear that those who already own guns have bought more, while those who don’t own guns are becoming more numerous. Polling confirms this, with the proportion of Australian households with a firearm falling by 75 percent in recent decades.”

If we had a respectable administration, we would be shipping arms into them via night time beach drops and parachute drops in country.
What a bunch of freedom minded Kiwis could do with those arms we left the Muslim terrorists in Afghanistan. I hate Obiden.

Australia is a cuck country. They aren’t allowed to own meaningful firearms so they are easily ruled by their socialist overlords
