He said there's only one thing nobody is making and said it was land.

There's more than one. Nobody is making time either.

A strong middle class is socialism?

I did not realize you were such a 1% elitist.

But your dumbass comments make more sense in that light.

Again, as JerseyTiger explained, most land is worthless.

I mean shite, that's a reason why the US owns so much of it out West and we have a federal agency created to manage it. Until we discover some random pockets of natural resources, it's basically worthless.

I critiqued your framing, which was, boiled down "Democrats lie. Republicans are sincere" which ignores the fact that they rely on the same policies for these goals (see the Nancy Pelosi video from 1996)

I'll go back through the thread to look for a Pelosi video. I was mostly skimming replies which were diverging from your OP, and from your implication that MAGA should move away from what you consider leftist talking points.

Even if Pelosi talks up limiting immigration (as many Dems used to do), talks up protecting the middle class and promoting tariffs, I don't see that the Dems under Clinton or Obama did anything for the middle class aside from paying it lip service. To be fair, Republicans didnt do much either, except being more consistent with messaging in an anti-cultural Marxist context (pro-life/family/religion).

In contrast, the second Trump started actually trying to shut down the border and enact tariffs, the Dems passionately abandoned those positions... almost like they never believed in them. So, yeah Dems lie (or pivot if you prefer) about caring for the welfare of the middle class... and it's a valid point when saying Trump should move away from such messaging or action.

That's what I was thinking.

The guy says that most land is worthless and some idiot ridicules that idea, so he posts a couple of quick links to prove it and the same idiot ridicules the land for being worthless.

It's definitely all about the idiot in the conversation.

He picked desert land because your idiot arse laughed at him when he correctly said that the majority of land in the US is worthless.

Have you ever looked at a map of the US? Look at how much of the land is desert. In Arizona (where the land he posted was) there are entire counties with population densities as low as 8 people per square mile. Hell, Wyoming and Montana have a population density of 6 and 7 people per square mile for the whole states.

As of 2012, only 5% of the land in the US was developed.

Undeveloped land isn't in a town, city, or bordered by roads. Sure, some of that land is farmland, but not all of it. When you drive around and pass cotton fields and other fields growing something, that's not part of what I'm talking about, because if it were you wouldn't be able to see it from any road you'd have access to.

The point is that he made a reasonable claim and you ridiculed the claim, he posted evidence to support the claim and you ridiculed it for being exactly what you challenged him to support.

Kind of like:

Him: "Some words have lots of s's."

You: "What bullshite."

Him: "Mississippi."

You: "Haw haw...Mississippi...what a dumbfrick word to post."

Only an idiot does that.

I don't get the purpose of this thread. It's been a truism since the dawn of time that everybody sounds the same in campaign ads. They all claim to be for education. For a solid National Defense. For Safe Streets. It's not the what that differentiates it's the how
