Step 1: stop trying to make everything partisan or political

Step 2: stop being addicted to dopamine hits of emotionality

Step 3: analyze news/sourcing with objective logic and rationality, instead of echo chamber logic and emotion. These 3 simple steps would help with most people.

Annnnd we had Jake Tapper scold everyone about misgendering a kid killer today.

Who really are the hyper partisans? The people more likely to attack someone else over different views? The people at a complete 0 in gallop rankings on the current approval of the administration?

Who are the emotional ones? Who are the constant protestors? The yellers? Screamers? The ones claiming democracy in this country is in danger of going away? That has congresswomen gathering a group and telling them to confront members of a different party?

And analyzing news sources… do I even have to with this one?

So I think you are singing to the wrong choir here.

You’d think they’d mature from their “progressive” ideologies, but with all the aging dim protesters we keep seeing, I guess not.

No. There exist no path to the left and right coming together. They are polar opposite of one another on the most basic and foundational issues.

Whats insane is that it wasnt like this until recently. Some kind of act from Obama changed things in about 2012. Suddenly, racism was everywhere.

In reality we are all just one grain of sand on one big arse beach in the big scheme of things.

At the extremes yes. It's the extreme 10 percent on either side and the other 80 percent of the population isn't completely insane

But he doesnt understand why or how as he is scolding non-liberals rather than the insane liberals.

I’m not aware of an American Civil War going on right now. One where almost 700,000 men die. So I’d say no, we aren’t the farthest apart we’ve ever been.

Matter of fact, we’re not even 2nd. That would go to the hippies in the 60s

They’re far apart because the left is running in a sprint leftward. The “neocon” right can’t catch up and act as the right flank of the political left because they’re so crazy they would alienate their Fox News constituency. The neocon right also can’t maneuver to the right because that would mean tearing down their own institutions.

As clarification I say neocon right as a descriptor. There aren’t really anymore neocons. The neocon philosophy was fully absorbed by the Republican Party and Conservative Inc. So really neocon just means republican.

One side or the other must be defeated, eradicated.
There is zero path to reconcile our differences.
Folks dont like to hear this and always believe there are non violent ways to reconcile differences, and usually there are....

This is basic good vs evil, right vs wrong. There is no reconciliation.

Just because you don't recognize the significance of our time doesn't disqualify it.....

Since the modern Political Left is driven by Marxists?….

Yes, Destroy them.

This is no longer the old traditional American liberals with whom you could find at least a few issues of common cause for the good of the country.

These modern day frickers detest everything this Republic was found upon and stood for.

Self-absorbed people were saying this same shite back during the caveman era, except in caveman language.

81 million fricking people (allegedly) voted for Joe Biden, and you think it’s only 10% extreme on the left?

A literal MARXIST just ran undemocratically supplanting the incumbent and nearly half of the country voted for her, and you think it’s only 10% extreme on the left?

I think the "American left" has largely been reduced to the extremely loud and insane fringe activists of the dying democrat party. I think the vast majority of normal Americans are closer than we've been since 9/11. The stop Trump brigade is so obviously contrived and powerless, they are about to be totally ignored.

Yes.

No.

It'd be best to split up.

Politics usually should not divide a nation, but it is now, and there should be a major split.

I grew up in the 60s. Today is nothing like the divisions then. Desegregation, The War, assassinations, etc.

1% of the left thinks the country is headed in the right direction

75% of the right thinks the country is headed in the right direction

Nothing can be done
