Well the tariffs won’t cause higher iPhone prices in this case but this does hurt China and will help either cripple their economy and bring them to the table or end their ever looming threat as a growing world power.
India isn’t a threat nor a communist nation. I’ve said for awhile we should shift production of our cheap products out of communist china to India. China is a threat to us, not an ally.

Chinese love the WeChat APP & it works the same on a $1000 IPhone & a $200-500 Chinese brand. So why pay more for an Apple phone whose IOS / services arent all that in demand since WeChat arrived?

And to be honest the tariffs haven't targeted Apple yet. Apple is rapidly losing market in China & if they aren't selling phones there I guess there will be less long term interest in the market.
