Would you rather shortages and higher prices at the grocery store? You really do care about yourself and your neighbors.

As long as you understand that the tariffs he proposes are inflationary and will mean more immigration.

Most "illegals" come here on a visa, not by swimming the rio grand.

Your refugees are not illegals, they have protected status. Its the refugees you need to get rid of first.

None of these MAGAs understand basic economic tradeoffs. They believe strongly that tariffs will revive mfg, and they are backwards.

Its funny to hear them whine about inflation, then support more inflation.

Without question this is the root of the problem however it’s reversible and not having access can’t hurt. I don’t think we can allow drug cartels and common criminals to operate in the US. Biden & Kamela invited these monsters in.

We've already lost the war on drugs. Prohibition stops no one.

Its a 100 Billion dollar industry, where there is that kind of reward, people take the risk.

We have a massive drug problem and its already illegal. Maybe let people take themselves out of society, instead of trying to save everyone.

Because they reproduce, and the next generation will do the same.

40 years and over a trillion dollars spent to win the war in drugs. What makes you think this time will be different? Trump is not solving this crisis, no president can or will.

Heroin virtually disappeared from the streets at one point.

What was “worse” that replaced it?

Replaced by Oxy, then fentanyl.

When Fentanyl disappears, the next "worse" drug shows up on the market..

Shortages…. Maybe. Unless Mexican and other countries’ growers find more export markets to sell to but the US is huge market to ignore or punish for a prolonged period of time. I can’t tell you how much we got from Mexico and other offshore sources when I worked for the Canadians. Why was that? Because the US isn’t in production for many everyday crops at all times and there are specialty crops that we don’t grow. We can store a few particular crops for long periods of time, apples being the best example but people are going to tire of potatoes pretty quickly.

Higher prices are an absolute certainty. Now if shortages were to happen and we have tariffs in place? People are gonna ticked off at the end result.

Its a 100B market, people will take the risks.

Banning drugs means you get designer drugs which are usually more dangerous.

So, you are willing to sacrifice your business so that some drug addicts will have a job in a tequila shop. Thats very noble of you.

My business traditionally does better under Dems because they are so bad for the economy so the foreclosure business is usually good under them but even with that, I would never vote Dem. I would rather make a little less money than have a country overran with Progressive Ideology.

I know you don't understand this because you are in your 60s and still an hourly employee but some of us put integrity and morals over money because we aren't living check to check. I also have various streams of revenue so that helps but still.
