Liberals who cite the Bible demonstrate their primary problem.
A liberal thinks, "gee, I really care about X"...........therefore, it's time to force EVERYONE ELSE to care about X and act on it.
The Bible never says, "help the poor by forming a band of people to take money from OTHER people and give it to the poor".

Everything is starting to make sense Biblically to me. “They”, whoever “they” are, they have to create an earthly utopia in order for the movie script to work itself out. Pay attention to Israel and especially Jerusalem. I know a good portion of this board hates Israel and many if y’all dont gaf about nor believe in Scripture. I read it and believe it’s words but I don’t think like a good person nor behave like one. People assume you should be well behaved if yo mention the Bible. One can know the book and still admire Comrade Stalin too. Multi tasking man.

My mistake. Missed that one. I was referring to the passage in the Old Testament that made "lying with a man as if with a woman" punishable by death.

the only punishable by death sin in the new testament is taking a collection and lying about how much you received.
