AOC "corrects" Liz Cheney

The progressive congresswoman was reacting to Cheney, who is the House Republican Conference chairwoman, writing on Twitter that Ocasio-Cortez thinks "dead people" can run for president after Ocasio-Cortez last week said Congress amended the Constitution to ensure that former President Franklin Delano Roosevelt didn't get reelected.
Cheney shot back with a link to an educational "School House Rock" video on the Constitution.
"I know you’re busy so I thought this short video would be helpful to introduce you to the basics of the Constitution," she said. "If you’re still trying to figure out how a bill becomes a law, they have a great video on that, too."

I see from your dead people comment that you get your news from Facebook memes, but the National Constitution Center + Newsweek are just two of many places where you can clarify your misunderstanding of the history of the 22nd Amendment:

The 22nd Amendment to the United States Constitution.
Passed by the United States Congress on March 21, 1947
FDR died April 12, 1945
In the 1946 Midterm election Republicans ran on Limiting the Term of a President to 2 Terms. They won control of both the House and Senate.
AOC is incorrect because the Bill was submitted in January 1947
the 22nd Amendment was later ratified by the requisite number of states on the 27th of February in 1951.

I’m really trying to figure out if you are for real or not. Some of the positions you take would only be endeavored by the mentally ill or a paid shill, however I’m fascinated by the thought of real people like you actually being out there. Like UFOs or the Loch Ness Monster.

It was not even initiated for approval until '47.
The closest thing that you can make for AOC's words making any sense was in '44 people started to grumble about FDR winning again and becoming a dictator or emperor rather than a President. He was dead and buried by the time the 22nd was even on paper.

The process was started after he died and it was enacted like 7 years after he died.
AOC is a void of thinking.
Amendment was approved in '47.
Eta: February 27, 1951 was when the last of the 36 required states ratified the amendment.
