They killed Charlie Kirk, but they created a lot of warriors.

And they aren't going to like them.

Young students are the demographic that historically leans Democrat (due to naive ignorance). Generation Z is far from that and pretty rabid conservatives in my kids circles. I don't think the Democrats understand how bad it is about to get for them.

I was in a long meeting and my 18 yo son at Baylor and 20 yo niece at Texas State texted me before I saw it.

My son was planning on attending his event at Baylor in a few weeks.

Gen Z is pretty based.

I am 36, a millennial and always watched his clips. He was sharp, brave, a believer, and knew how to tactfully deal with sensitive topics and frame his message to win over the open minded. I believe he was a big reason why Trump the election as well.

The one message I remember the most was not mountain moving but in a way, because of his humility and faith, it still held the same effect. He said on one of his shows that previously his workload and his interactions with people often led him to feeling anxiety, and like the world was closing in around him. But then he offered a solution:
Rest on the sabbath

The following post is why this thread is not satire. Not only did he not study on Sunday, but he turned social media off on Sundays as well. He suggested to his followers to do the same and truth be told that alone has helped a ton. Simple but effective. Social media and some of the trash on tv are invasive regardless of how easily accessible they are. I dont always avoid social media on Sundays but thought I would share one of his many messages that spoke to this millennial's heart.

My 16 year old texted me right after I had just seen it on TD. She’s pretty bummed about it and apparently had been following him on social media for quite a while and I never knew:

I just did. I had no idea my 31 year old has been following him for years - they were the same age. He was deeply shaken.

My 12 year old didn't know who he was. She doesn't have social media, and she doesn't stay on YouTube so I wasn't really surprised.

A mid-30s engineer at my office was visibly shaken over the news. For GenXers and Boomers unfamiliar with the size of Kirk’s following, Kirk was that generation’s Rush Limbaugh.

Mine texted me within minutes as well. She’s followed him for at least 18 months now of not more.

She’s how I found out about him! She’s in her early 20s.

My son is pretty shaken up by it. Unfortunately he watched the video. I refuse to.

I vaguely knew him. Both of my daughters (21 and 16) texted me within minutes of it happening. He was very well known by college students

All my children. Ages 31, 23, 23, 20 all males and all huge Charlie Kirk’s fans. 2 called me before the news was really even breaking.

One of the 23 yo and the 20 yo is devastated.

I’m a huge Auburn fan by my 20 year old is a student at Bama and a bama fan. Charlie was supposed to be on campus next Wednesday there to debate the abortion topic.
