It looks like our Grandparents were correct about a lot of things. My generation was sold a batch of snake oil. We should have listened to our elders.

This is entirely wrong. Every time you open your mouth to the police they are gathering EVIDENCE that can and WILL be used against you in a court of law.

This is exactly how I feel. Being that I used to be a MSU fan it would take the President of the University and the Athletic Director to sit in my living room and apologize for bringing politics into sports. They can also apologize for calling me a hate filled, racist-bigot. Even after that I might just not buy that as you stated:
