All of this shut down was and the social control overall by the gubmint? In one week they all but shut a continental country of 330 million people down without much protest. Little Kim is probably taking notes

Yeah brother. You should make sure you’re stocked up on ammo so you can defend yourself against the government. You’re the only hope we have against drones, missiles, rockets, the Air Force, etc.

I'm amazed Americans still trust politicians to any extent.

I purchased ammo today. I have faith that 50% of those military baws will shoot me dead by direct orders from their country to kill one of their own. Because of their loyalty. The other half will shoot the ones who shot me, for being traitors against the American people. The American mindset is not one that has grown up under minds previously held under totalitarian thumb. So to coerce these actions out of their foot soldiers will be a pass/fail attempt.

From what I see in my bubble, its still the vocal minority stirring up and substantiating this shite. Everyone I know who still has a job is still going to work. The only people I know actaully scared of the china flu are very old, other than a handful of young irrational people I work with who would relish sitting on their asses and getting a government check for a few months.

And we’re finding out they knew it was coming and made millions off of it. We as a people should say frick this shutdown and continue life as normal. I’m not a conspiracy theorist but something is going on.

You make this sound like its necessarily a bad thing. Fedgov and states asked people to close up shop, and the public largely listened.
You may not agree with the policy to do so, but having the population generally comply with the government's requests during an emergency is not a bad thing on its own. Its been like two weeks, max.

That would be because the overwhelming majority of people realize that when/if a major emergency happens and they need help, its going to be the government in some form that is providing that help.
