Anyone else just depressed at the state of Clown World?

I can’t get over this pretend world where police are a bigger threat to the black community than black on black crime. New Orleans, Shreveport, and Baton Rouge combine for over 300 murders a year and we’re stuck with government and culture that would rather pretend white police officers are “literally hunting” for their 10-14 unarmed black shootings a year.

I’ve just honestly committed myself to the idea that this nation is absolutely doomed and am making sure I am prepared for all of the possible dystopian outcomes the best I can

While it is worse because of the abuse of authority, that goes for any police brutality case and not just those against one certain race.

Egalitarian Ideology is going to have their Authoritarian day. Until they learn that 'herding cats' really don't get them where they hoped it would. Unity and prosperity is over until the dust settles.
There are only two possibilities: Eternal Life...or Eternal Death. Either way, being "depressed" is of no value or consolation.
Either wing it...or get Jesus. Lord have mercy.

It feels like we are watching the fall of Rome in real time every.single.day. It is insane. The one saving grace is that things seem to be somewhat normal in my day to day life aside from the outdated mask mandates.

Yes, because you’re sane. I used to think I thought I may have bravery in me, but I think I’m convinced I do now. I literally mean “Give me liberty or give me death.” I was once a suicidal mess (fine now) and maybe that just made me not fear death anymore, but I’m not cowering down because the state tells me to.
The stakes are now actually here. People don’t know what it’s like to live in actual fascism. I’ve told this story here before, but I’ll do it again. In China I had a “girl friend” (not a girl I was dating) my age and it turned out she had an older brother. That’s basically unheard of in someone her age and I asked how that was possible. Well she told me that her parents went on the run from the CCP for 6 months in order to have her and her father personally delivered her in a shack in the countryside. The CCP eventually caught up with them, and you know how they punished them? Sterilized all 4 of them. Horrific to say the least.
People in this country have no idea how good they have it here and how actual good people who would make wonderful members of our society would literally kill to get here and have the opportunities we have. Our rights are dying and rapidly at that. We got to start openly protesting (without masks) to save this country. Electing DeSantis is the only true long term option to save this country.

Our politicians are not doing us any favors . They should be putting pressure on the democrats to make this stop , push them to take police out of these cities .
