Yes, that's why I responded the way I did.

You—like almost everyone else these days—think that the real election is the general.

It's not. The primaries are where policy direction is shaped. No one is advocating that anyone vote for Kamala Harris in the general election.

People who say what you're saying do so to either avoid responsibility for Trump or to use it as an argument to invalidate any criticism of Trump.

Like Taxing Authority keeps saying, just because choice B is worse than choice A, that doesn't make choice A good. It just makes it better than choice B.

Uh, no. Trump called the whole thing a hoax and Tit's McGee even said there were no more files, before Massie's bill forced them to release 3,000,000 more files.

The dumbest thing the Democratic Party ever did IMO was make an enemy of Trump.
It's puzzling. Makes me wonder if some of it is purely disingenuous. A lot of it is probably theatre.

Oh, well I didn’t realize that you had certified your thoughts as 100% irrefutable fact. I take it all back. I have no choice but to presume that everything else you say/post is USDA prime fact.

I don't know. I don't think Trump's NYC trial was theatre, and I'm even more sure that him getting shot in the head wasn't.

No, I think they genuinely hate him. But they are also populists, so they are so blinded by the same complete lack of principles upon which to base policy decisions that they couldn't see the benefit of manipulating him to enact leftist policies.

I dd no such thing. The facts are Trump backs a lot of the same poilcied Bernie and Warren have backed for decades. It is what it is. Not my fault it doesn't fit your narrative or affirm your mythology.

The alternatives to Trump ARE disastrous. This election upcoming is pivotal. The DSA are destroying the Democrat party. There is only one Democrat willing to stand up to them and he is about to jump ship.

Fair points. But I don't think the assassination attempt was democrat party operation. I'm not saying some people don't genuinely hate Trump personally. Clearly, some do. I'm talking about the DC crowd here.

Well, Trump is speeding toward not being eligible to elect again. He can't run in the next election that you say is so pivotal.

If he's the only choice that isn't a disaster, then nothing really matters, does it? Because disaster is imminent in a couple of years no matter what happens between now & then. Right?

I’ve said it before, Trump could do anything short of crashing the economy or starting a legit WW3 and be fine by me.

It’s so easy to forget just how disgusting and corrupt Biden was and Harris would have been. Illegal immigration another 4 years under Harris would have absolutely wreaked havoc. Whether he does everything he said he would or not, don’t forget the massive change for the good of the country that his election is.

Yeah the replies in this thread of "It's Trump or socialism, there are no other choices" is a clear indication of being conned.

Me either, but they also didn't stop with the radical rhetoric that likely contributed to his multiple subsequent assassination attempts.

And it's not like they can claim they don't believe it matters. It's their whole justification for silencing free speech about LGBTQ or whomever.

If you say hurtful things about them, it incites violence against them.
