re: Antisemitism in Europe is harkening back to the 1930’s and Jews are bugging out.

There are no "Palestinians". They are ethnically Arab like the Jordanians and modern Egyptians.
The concept of them being a unique people oppressed by the Jews is a warfare tactic propagated by the Iranian people to continually stir up shite in the region with the end goal of... you guessed it: killing all the Jews.
This is patently false, on all metrics.
Ethnically, Palestinians are semites - not necessarily Arabs. But I'll let you dig into why Israel doesn't allow DNA testing on your own.
Perhaps you could pause for a moment and think about how, and why, you've been propagandized, as well.
You don't have to take my word for it. You can look into the writings of Herzl, Ben Gurion, Weitzman, and other early Zionist leaders. They knew, full well, that they were coming to displace a native population- and they were perfectly content with that.
I'll leave you with a quote from future prime minister Moshe Sharett:
quote:
We have forgotten that we have not come to an empty land to inherit it, but we have come to conquer a country from people inhabiting it, that governs it by the virtue of its language and savage culture"
Look, I'm not defending either side. But let's not act like Palestine A) didn't exist or B) wasn't full of people when European Yiddish Ashkenazi jews started immigrating en masse. It's intellectually dishonest.
I don't care what they do to each other. I just don't want my tax dollars supporting it.

Logic 101, bro. Nor does it make them NOT a Hamas bro.

I concur. As little as possible.95% of this board.

But when someone makes the argument that if we dont fully support Israel then we are wishing for them to be destroyed, it's just some guilt trip bullshite to try to get us to spend more money.
Again, logic bro. There ARE those on this board who not only don’t want us to “ fully support “ Israel, but there are also those who 1. Truly hate Jews and put them at the center of all that is evil on planet earth 2.Do want the destruction of Israel.
There are a FULL range of opinions on Israel. ONE of them is the Hamas Bro wing, and they most definitely ARE on this board.

Just look at Mexico. They have a Jewish president

Agree with everything you said. We both know that these opinions exist. Neither of us should be surprised to encounter them.
But i disagree that this board has a hardcore collective of Hamas Bros, as you said. I think i would have encountered more of their opinions on here if that were true. On other websites they are certainly much greater in number than here.

Christians are taught all their lives that Jews are Gods chosen people and who ever goes against them will suffer. This is the basis for the support they get. I can’t believe no one has pointed this out yet.
If you’ve been taught since childhood that you don’t mess with something or someone because God said so….well, you get what you have here today. The Church has suffered declines in attendance and support for decades now. Hence some of the bold anti-Jew rhetoric you hear now. Here in the South, 20+ years ago and longer…you’d get chastised for speaking against Gods chosen people. Don’t get mad at me. It’s just what I’m pretty sure has shaped the dynamic

That number is only those that practice and claim Jewish as their primary identity. Triple that number to get a real answer.

Respectfully, you are wrong. There is a vocal core group here who want Israel wiped off the map. These voices are overwhelmingly from The Right ( just like you and I) and come from the legitimately antisemitic wing of The Right. And then there are the garden variety Leftists who have inexplicably joined forces with Islamists and added their ridiculous Marxist colonialist victim/ victimizer crap.
( JUST BECAUSE THE TERM ANTISEMITISM IS USED CYNICALLY TO CONTROL THE DEBATE AND SHAME ENEMIES OF ISRAEL WHO ARE NOT ACTUALLY ANTISEMITES DOES NOT MEAN THAT ANTISEMITES DO NOT EXIST).

Thank you for conceding my point about the guilt trip. Nobody here has claimed that antisemites dont exist. Our disagreement seems to be in the amount on this board. But are we lumping all antisemites in as Hamas Bros? I would assume the most hardcore antisemites dont care for Hamas either. But ive never asked one; so i dont know.
How do you define a Hamas Bro? It seems that you are using a pretty broad description. Are you just using it to shame enemies of Israel?
Posted on 2/16/25 at 9:41 am to Mike da Tigah
If you add up all the Hamas lovers and Dark MAGA around 95% of Americans hate Jews too.
Posted on 2/16/25 at 9:51 am to SECSolomonGrundy
I’m using it to describe those who I’ve watched here for YEARS who engage in pro Hamas Agitprop and/or baldly antisemitic tropes wherein there is a Jew behind every curtain. Or the rare lefties who weigh in with the victim/oppressor college tripe bullshite. It’s just plainly stupid.
For example Bunk Moreland. And I LIKE Bunk Moreland and upvote him regularly. But he’s a Hamas Bro. And there is another, far darker one in the thread. Just start paying attention.

Antisemitism in Europe has a very tenuous, if any, relationship to its Islamic population. They’ve been quite capable of it on their own.
Posted on 2/16/25 at 9:57 am to Mike da Tigah
Any Jewish person can freely emigrate to Israel no matter where they are in the world. Wish I had such a privilege.

Anyone posting maps showing it saying "palestine" is a fricking moron
The Romans renamed Judea to Palestine as a punishment thousands of years for the Jews rebelling against their Roman overlords. Palestinian "identity" did not exist until the 1960s when the USSR created it
Most Jews in the West are very liberal, which is not surprising since they live in the liberal hotspots (New York, LA etc). Most Jews in Israel are conservative
Israel has a right to return policy because no one has been persecuted throughout history like Jews. More than half of the Israeli population came from Middle Eastern countries half a century ago when the Arabs seized their land and kicked them out. Where else were they supposed to go?

Its evident not a lot of people have met real Jews. Liberal Jews are not religious at all, in the same way I would not call a blue haired Barnard graduate as representative of what an American is
Most conservatives would like Israelis, Ive been friends with one for over 15 years now. Strong work ethic, faith, family, community. Along with the Polish and Hungarians, they are good eggs

A few us on here just don't think all the Israel worship is America First. I hate how AIPAC owns almost all of D.C.
CAIR is the flip-side of that coin.
Despite their opposing foreign policy agenda when it comes to the Middle East, both the Zionist Chuck Schumer and the Islamist Ilhan Omar are dutiful minions of deeply embedded and wholly corrupted factions in the Deep State that thrive on perpetual conflict in the Middle East.
What a surreal spectacle to behold.

Agreed. Nothing like the dark portrayal of them on these threads , where they sit around in secret councils planning the Fall of The West. Especially when contrasted against the LITERAL cries from the Muslim world for the death of The West. It’s a willful distortion of the Israeli character by people you would think would be too smart to fall for it.

And anyone who denies that the cartographers of the British Empire, like the Romans before them, randomly drew lines in the sand to suit their Imperial objectives likewise is a historical ignoramus.
The Sykes-Picot Agreement was a covert arrangement between the United Kingdom, France & Russia which outlined future “spheres of influence” in the Greater Middle East in the event that the Triple Entente triumphed over the Ottoman Empire during the war.
While sectarian and ethnic conflict in the region has existed for eons, many of the current conflicts in the Middle East can be linked to these disastrous nation-building efforts by the triumphant Colonial powers after WWI.
