Waka... lemme try again. I am no lover of Palestine nor of palestinians, and I truly believe that, as a group, they've earned the heat they are taking in this moment.
However... Let us consider.... 'Palestine' isn't really real, Palestinians don't really have a 'home'... and Palestinian brother countries that do at least share common heritage and quite similar religion don't want them. What of them?
Yet, I am to feel sorry for a people that DO have a place... and in most developed countries that aren't muslim, have special 'anti -semitism' laws to protect them when outside of their holy land... again, I ask you... who HAS that but the jews?

I barely know and am sure of my parents... and they both were adopted. I am officially a nothing, except an American Citizen.
Russia?
Have to have a relative. An affinity for the culture, language is a plus.
Ireland?
Permits to be waived... not guaranteed, such as the jews are to their homeland.
I'm telling ya, the Jews have this really one cool thing and automatic citizenship is it.

It's not our job to support any foreign country or people.
There are a lot of people being oppressed and attacked in this world, but no one wants us to devoutly support them. It's because they don't have good PR teams and don't buy our congressmen, so people never hear about them. You constantly hear about how oppressed the poor old jews are and how they just want the right to exist and shouldn't be blamed for anything, so it gets repeated without any objective analysis.
This "but people hate them so we have to do something" argument is emotionally driven and somehow only applies to jews.

There is no "Palestine", never was. It was part of the Ottoman Empire, occupied by Britain until after WW1. The territory was carved into two parts as part of the Balfour Declaration of 1917. Strategically, Who would you rather dominate politics in the middle east? Which is more beneficial to the United States? A united and nuclear Arab Nation that hates western culture and thirsty to kill innocent westerners? or a small territory of productive jews living their lives in an open democracy?
We do have a non-emotional vested interest in this matter.

What’s fun to watch, is when it comes from posters on The Right they engage in the same kind of Identity Politics with Jews that they reject when it’s applied elsewhere. That’s why you will see all these same tropes that take away ALL individuality from Jews and portray that as one organic Marxist blob that is moving evilly under the surface to destroy The West. It’s literally the same thing we have seen for a thousand years; the old hatred. And it never dies. And it never will.
