I don’t know if you are asking me this directly, but what does this mean? TIA
I was not sorry
Just that the NYT is reporting that a direct missile hit on a soft unfortified target somehow killed only 5 of 72 attendees.
Probably the lowest % in any bomb blast ever

Centcom is on the case.

The British levelled Dresden in WWII, similarly useless targets.

Or Iran is good at propaganda.

Sounds like it was blast.

Are we sure it just wasn't part of the Pyrotechnics Show for the Wedding that maybe went wrong?

These cretins don't care about things like Fallujah or Dresden. Muh 'Merica, dindu nuffin!

Seeing this several places. Seems our military has a proclivity for bombing weddings in the ME.
Sounds like everyone had a blast.
Edited: damn, Cleverusername beat me to it on page 1.

Another Wedding Bombed by US Military
I love it! No one crashes a wedding like the United States Air Force!

I don’t think The NYT has a journalist on their staff.

The bomb was American, according to a weapons expert and a visual analysis by The New York Times

Many amongst us don’t want to hear that. Which is quite telling. I.e. they want it to be the exact case as described in the piece.

I couldn't care less if we bombed every person inside Iran. The world would be better for it.

I may have erred in the use of ‘impossibility’. I would amend it to ‘overwhelmingly improbable.’
They are an unarmed, untrained large and spread out population with no real way to mobilize and develop the logistics necessary to launch an offensive against a large ideological fighting force. There is no evidence that there is any cohesion of militias spread out over a vast country necessary to even posit a real revolt. There is no evidence of a unified ideology among their populace to challenge their government and military. The moderates in their government are in fear for their lives and has been reported that in several cases some have been killed for suggesting a change the in course of action.
There is also no evidence that the required mutiny among their decentralized military forces to create any feasibility of a revolt is present. The misery index (a real thing) is at a historical high due to the near worthlessness of their currency and the growing scarcity of resources. In other words they are in survival mode more than fighting mode.
Though to an unknown degree, the attack of their nation by foreign powers and assassination of their leaders has created national unity against the these nations. It is historically the case to hold (to a great degree) these nations responsible for their dire situation.
We romanticize the idea of breaking the chains of tyranny because it is the foundational principle in the birth of our nation. It is blind optimism to think that this alien mindset will blossom 250 years later in a country beset by war and no organizational structure for its genesis.
Those things are the basis of my opinion.

Even if there was not a wedding bombed, are you comparing Iranians (that we want to kill) to Hitler? Hyperbole, yes.
No, he's just showing that the military act itself isn't necessarily immoral.
Hitler = yes, proves that it can be acceptable.
Once you determine that then you have to debate where the line is drawn.
Who was their target?

Ok, thanks. It's all believable and I'll assume your information is trustworthy, but I never rule out the low odds.
