In two years all these Trump cock suckers will say they never really supported the guy and always knew he was a self serving prick. Look at what they say about McConnell. Just about every good thing that got accomplish under Trump's four years was all the work of McConnell. But Mitch said mean things about Trump.
Disagree.
When he loses Iowa, the MAGA crowd will say it was rigged and Trump really won bigly.
When he loses NH, the MAGA crowd will say it was rigged and Trump really won bigly.
When he loses the nomination, the MAGA crowd will say it was rigged and Trump really won bigly.
When he runs 3rd party and loses, the MAGA crowd will say it was rigged and Trump really won bigly.
Because nobody embraces victimhood like the MAGAts.

I still like Desantis.
Just have Trump and Paul well above him as a proven commodity.

Yeah I mean, the GOP was losing on every issue for a couple of decades (besides guns) so I don't really blame Trump for that.
He did, however, bring the GOP to the brink of revolution (in a mostly good way) and now appears in the process of blowing it up because the Governor of Florida is ignoring him.

And I highly doubt there is any payoff coming at the end of this meltdown unless Ron reacts.
Ron is busy governing Florida and running for re-election. Trump plays golf, does pep rallies and never took the time to unpack his boxes of top secret papers.

Lol dude Trump didn’t campaign pretty aggressively at the same time Desantis was? And not even for himself but instead for other people not even in his family? Then why is everyone wailing that he personally somehow screwed up the midterms for Republicans?

You mean a primary competitor, right? According to so many here AND apparently according to some actions or inactions emanating from the Desantis camp itself.
That's fine and may be a fight they need to have for another day. But FFS, would it be too much to ask if we could set that shite aside until let's say December 7 and work our asses off together to stave off the braindead commie Zombie attack?

Trump is exposing them all now! MAGA MAGA MAGA!!

He's not even ignoring him. He was busy winning the frick out of Florida and prepping for a natural disaster. My 13 year old daughter isn't as moody as this 78 year old bitch.

Yeah some truth to that.
TBH I think Trump knew from the time he started this a week ago or whenever it was that he was dealing with someone who wouldn't easily be baited and he's already internalized the frustration from that even though he has barely tested the waters (before tonight). Hence him going 0-60 without any provocation.
DeSantis is probably sitting there going "I didn't even have time to get around to a snarky response"

How does anything Trump has said in any way or will in any way negatively affect the Georgia runoff? I’m sure you’ve noticed the nasty divide amongst the right already been going for a while now, and seemingly firing off amongst groups/sites just like this as well as all social media of course. And nothing Trump said fired all that off. Yep, it’s ugly and it’s been fostered and fueled by our own selves. That’s on “us” straight up.

Paul Ryan and Desantis

Hero worship of politicians is weird.
It was weird with Obama.
It was weird with Trump.
Nobody owes any politician a damn thing. If a politician does something stupid or crazy, you can call it stupid or crazy without immediately becoming one of the “enemy”

100%
I think it's human nature for most to want to be led; to want heroes. So I don't really fault that in a bubble, but most reasonable people drop the hero worship when their hero shows how flawed they are.

Saw it on Truth Social and told him he is damaging his own strongest support.
Posted on 11/10/22 at 7:05 pm to Timeoday
If I wanted to undermine the Right, I would encourage Trump to launch unprovoked attacks on the most popular right-wing governor in America whose supporters are also Trump’s supporters

All DeSantis did is win his election and Trump is losing his mind. The spotlight moves off him for a second and he can’t handle it.
