down from its earlier projection of 2.2%. That substantial downward revision — over a quarter drop in anticipated growth — underscores just how sharply expectations have deteriorated.

Who is Quartz and why should we believe them?

I thought it was announced Q2 GDP would be at 4.6%. I get this is annual, but they expect a melt down in Q3 and Q4? everything said was a bad Q1 and Q2 and rebound come Q3/4.

Meh, let’s see how it plays out. So far we don’t seem to be heading in that direction.

A brutal new forecast shows slowing economic growth

Atlanta Fed is predicting 4.6% next quarter and New York Fed is predicting 2.42 next quarter.

We can always print more money to pump those numbers up, but that wouldn't be healthy.

July 30th is the Q2 advanced estimate. Perhaps you should listen to them.

That honestly doesn’t sound bad. We needed a slowdown and considering a recession will leave everyone jobless and then homeless… not a horrible circumstance

Guy who post 650 times a day on Tiger Rant knows more about economics than the Organization for Economic Co-operation.

Not an unreasonable assumption. We're talking about the OECD.

Seethe bitch seethe. Not my fault you’re a retard and don’t know what ideal gdp growth is while posting about it.

Let me guess you’re the savior of Chicago?

This is actually an excellent forecast that analysts expect to be revised upwards due to it’s inclusion of the toughest tariff proposals that will most likely not occur.

Is this John’s alter, someone posting nonsense mental gymnastic conclusions they don't quite understand is right up his alley.

I looked them ip:

The Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) is an intergovernmental organization founded in 1961 with 38 member countries. Its primary purpose is to stimulate economic progress and world trade by providing a platform for governments to compare experiences, seek solutions to common challenges, and develop high standards for economic policy. The OECD is known for its evidence-based policy analysis and economic data, which help member countries improve their economic performance. For more detailed information, you can visit the official OECD website.

Surely there is no anti-American bias nor ulterior motives there.
