After she leaves office it will be 16 years as chancellor. She already announced she was not running for re-election in 2021.

If Trump does not win in 2020 she will be in office 11 more months after he leaves office.
He will still need Pennsylvania, Michigan, and Wisconsin to win. Pennsylvania and Michigan will got back blue. That brings him electoral voolege to 270. He will need to keep the rest of the states he won.

Florida will be closer and Wisconsin will be hard to keep red.

Hitler may still be the worst Chancellor in German history, but Merkel is a close second. Maybe the next one will have a spine and balls and at least attempt to save Germany.

Merkel should have been arrested and tried for treason when she let all those refugees in.

She completely destabilized Europe for the worse and made it more dangerous for law abiding citizens.
