43% over the last decade, with an additional 15% either 8:1 or 7:2.

Why? The big, sexy cases addressing big Constitutional questions get all the press, but most SCOTUS cases are just interpreting statutes.

Why is it that the lower courts have such a difficult time interpreting statutes?

The OP stipulated "single" worst justice. He's clearly counting Sotomayor as a double.

I have always thought this criticism is totally invalid.

Not one in twenty of the questions posed by the Justices is intended to seek knowledge. They know the answers before they ask the questions.

Thomas doesn't choose to play that game.

Is he the greatest mind on the Court? No, not even close. He is also far from the weakest. Criticizing him for a less-flamboyant style is just silly.

If I was black I would say I’m only getting a covid vaccine from a black owned manufacturer and a black doctor.

Another Biden pick of an unqualified person only betting the position due to skin color and gender.

I mean, she can't define what a woman is. The bar was set pretty low from the start.

When she was confirmed after failing to give a coherent definition of what a woman is....I have to admit, my confidence in this constitutional republic surviving the current Woke lunatics controlling our highest institutions of power dropped to a new low.

The fact that—I don't remember the exact wording now—she essentially said that she didn't know what natural rights were (or didn't believe in them) during senate confirmation hearings should have been an automatic disqualification from the seat.
