An honest question for those who consider themselves evangelicals who also voted for Biden

Before I pose the question, allow me to provide some context. There is a prevailing argument from the democrats who consider Christian republican voters as narrow-minded fundamentalists being "led around by the nose for the sake of a single issue", i.e. single-issue voters. I will dispel that presumption here and declare that that is simply not true, but if I were to vote on a single issue, it would be that which involves abortion, as one who is a pro-life advocate.

Here then is my question: If abortion violates the biblical precept of the preservation of lives, albeit innocent and helpless ones inside the womb, and is therefore an issue of morality, how then can you have voted in favor of a party which vehemently opposes this stance, thereby directly opposing biblical doctrine?

I think you are in the wrong place. I’d be very surprised if evangelical Biden voters post here

The bigger issue is anyone with religious beliefs voting for prog filth. The progressives game plan eliminates religious beliefs as they are bad for their “brainwashing/serf control” agenda.

Knew a woman that claimed to be Christian that is militant groomer. I’d say her reason is she’s black. Not that it makes sense to me that blacks vote as a block for groomers, but her blackness seems to trump everything. She’s all in on”KBJ!”

I have asked this question to several people who claim to be Christians but vote for Democrats. They always say that you can't legislate morality. The hell you can't! Laws against theft, fraud, murder, rape, etc do exactly that.

Lol! Forgive me for beginning my post with Lol! But come on, these people you question are not adhering to biblical doctrine when they vote to support candidates of the Groomer Party.

I believe you should be directing this question to Catholics. They have a much stronger stance on being anti-abortion. Regardless I believe it’s an excellent question.

Have you talked to a liberal about this ? One of our neighbors is a liberal who goes to church and talked about church . But she supports LGBT and thinks abortions should be legal so teenage girls don’t have to tell their parents they got pregnant. I think a lot of these hypocrite evangelicals go to the same churches . And the preachers care more about money then preaching the truth. Think about it . Nancy and Joe go to church .

If you truly subscribe to being an evangelical Christian, you cannot support any of these doctrines, so this is basically a nonsensical question and pretty much, well dumb to ask. You could NEVER vote for Biden and all the things surrounding him and call yourself an evangelical. Nope.

You know what’s funny?
I completely wrote Trump off as a Republican in 2016. I said several times to friends and family he had no chance with the all-important evangelical voters. Casino owner, adulterer, etc.
Shows I have zero ability to get inside an evangelical mind

The fake "Christians" (Democrats) never have an answer for that question and I have asked it many times.

The VERY few people I have known personally that walked the walk had almost zero interest in politics in general. I can think of a couple. One was dedicated to prison ministries and the other was heavily involved in feeding the hungry. Neither could’ve told you anything about current politics. RIP Tommy

The argument the progressive Christians make is that “I’m personally against abortion. But it’s a complex issue. And I believe Democrat policies will lead to fewer people seeking abortions by dealing with the system economic structural issues that drive unwanted pregnancies.”

It’s all bullshite though. And they just want to sit at the cool kid table.

It’s hard for anyone to remain consistent with what they profess to believe. Christians are no exception.

That said, many delude themselves into thinking that because the Democrat party stands for social justice for the oppressed, that they are in alignment with Jesus’ teachings. They don’t have an understanding of the proper role of the church and the proper role of the state and Christ’s mediatorial kingship.

In short, they are generally ignorant of what the Bible actually teaches or simply don’t care because they are nominal Christians rather than seeking to know the Lord that bought and saved them by being in the Word.
