Pretty cool, you can sort by local area or state and see all the projects being built

But Trump only released 3.5 MILLION Epstein files! What a failure!

Yep, and every Democrat fighting against him and these projects will IMMEDIATELY take credit if they are elected into office

Permitting reform will help launch more of these projects and keep crazy climate nuts from holding them up

But Trump stopped. I ran from getting a nuke and it’s taking him more than the length of a sitcom episode.

He’s bad.

$17B SpaceX / Tesla Semiconductor manufacturing, Grimes County, TX

Is this to compliment NVIDIA or compete against them? That’s a super huge investment

Grok says.......

Primarily to complement / secure supply for Tesla & SpaceX’s own massive projected demand, not to compete head-on with NVIDIA as a commercial chip vendor

Back in reality, construction in the manufacturing sector has fallen off a cliff since the begining of 2025. The tariff policy has been a total failure. Navarro is an delusional ideologue, idiot, and a liar. Always has been. Reality is going to hit maga cultists like a ton of bricks in November.

quote:

U.S. President Donald Trump has been championing tariffs to protect and bring back U.S. industries, especially in the manufacturing space. However, as of May 2026, there has been no indication that manufacturing activity is to pick up in the country. To the contrary, the sector was actually where the biggest decrease in construction spending occurred over the course of a year. Almost 22 percent less was spent on manufacturing construction in May 2026 than in May 2025 on an annualized basis, according to the St. Louis Fed

quote:

Overall, the persistently high cost of raw materials like steel and copper – also subject to tariffs – coupled with ongoing shortages of electrical equipment and the like is also hurting construction projects.

Who cares about blue collar jobs when you can increase white collar ones?

I don’t want to pay more for my goods when a Mexican can make the same quality for less (and no union required).

everyone is well aware you are capable of virtue fagot crying about blue collar jobs, while simultaneously wanting brown people to be your slave and do those jobs for the small price of welfare voter blocks - you don't need to tell us again

This has to do with the bottleneck in the Netherlands, where the only machines in the world can produce the silicone chips required for todays high end needs.

Grok:
quote:

Yes — Elon Musk’s companies (Tesla, SpaceX, and xAI) are planning a massive semiconductor fabrication plant called Terafab in Texas. It is designed to produce advanced AI/logic and memory chips at enormous scale to meet demand that existing foundries cannot supply fast enough.?Thenextweb

Key details on Terafab
Location: Grimes County, Texas (roughly an hour outside Houston, on a large site associated with SpaceX).
Scale: Initial phase investment around $16.8 billion; full buildout has been discussed in the range of tens of billions up to ~$119 billion in some filings. Planned manufacturing floor space has been described in the tens of millions of square feet (on the order of 100 million in some announcements).
Purpose: Produce chips for Tesla (Optimus robots, Cybercab, vehicles), SpaceX (including space-based data centers), and related AI needs. The long-term target discussed is on the order of 1 terawatt of computing capacity per year — far beyond current global leading-edge supply.
Partners: Intel is involved (using its 14A process technology for the advanced nodes). There have been discussions about limited involvement or subleasing with TSMC, but Musk has stated that his companies will build and run the fab. Construction of the first phase has been announced as underway or starting.?Reuters
The “insanely expensive machines”
You are thinking of the Extreme Ultraviolet (EUV) lithography machines made by ASML (headquartered in Veldhoven, Netherlands — not Denmark).

ASML has a near-monopoly on the EUV tools required for the most advanced chips (those used in cutting-edge AI processors, high-end logic, etc.).
Each high-end EUV machine costs roughly $200–400 million, is the size of a large bus or bigger, weighs many tens of tons, and requires specialized installation and ongoing support from ASML.
Without these (or future successors), you cannot mass-produce the leading-edge nodes that Terafab aims for. Musk has publicly praised ASML as “arguably the greatest company in Europe,” spoken to their employees, and the project is expected to be a major future customer for their systems.?CNBC
In short: Terafab is a real, ambitious U.S. chip-fab project driven by Musk’s companies to secure their own supply of advanced silicon. The critical, ultra-expensive bottleneck equipment comes from the Dutch company ASML in the Netherlands

Goose Goslin......you are a fckin idiot.....

quote:

According to the U.S. Bureau of Economic Analysis, total expenditures by foreign direct investors to acquire, establish, or expand U.S. businesses reached $232.2 billion in 2025, which is an increase of $76.8 billion (or 49.5%) compared to 2024 levels.

That’s TerraFab. Joint venture between SpaceX and Tesla. It is supposed to be the 2nd largest building on earth when finished.
