I believe the team mentality is going to override that, but we will see.

Yeah, not happy with the bill at this point. Huge Trump fan but I can actually be objective and say this is not something I'll or any conservative should support. Fix the damn bill.

I don't think they can. They're wedded to reconciliation and I don't think there exists a set of fixes that (a) are purely fiscal (b) won't trigger the Freedom Caucus (c) won't trigger at least three Senate moderates.

What are the chances this bill never makes it to a final vote in Congress?

I think it's pretty high,

Jesus, there might 55-60 votes against this in the Senate.

48 Dems
Murkowski
Capito
Collins
Lee
Paul
Gardener
Portman

Moreover since those Senators oppose the bill for 3 distinct issues (not perserving the Medicaid expansion; doing too much to preserve the expansion and other subsidies; defunding Planned Parenthood), I can't really see a way reconciliation would solve this impasse.

Trump administration is inviting everyone's input while making this legislation. Compare that to Obama's administrations you have to pass it to see what's in it!

Eh... 48 hours for a 123 page bill with this one versus 24 hours for a 1000+ page bill for Obamacare. Not really that different. Both are being rushed through without adequate time for review.

Don't worry, getting rid of state lines, which will promote competition, will be in phase 2 & 3 of healthcare rollout. @foxandfriends

Im a Trump supporter as well and I will never support this abortion of a bill they have put out.

I want a repeal, then we can talk a replacement. The GOP needs to stop holding taxpayers hostage with Obamacare.
