My wife’s family immigrated here, and they have said time and time again that becoming Americans is the proudest moment of their lives. We truly take what we’ve been blessed with for granted.

That's funny that Jackie Robinson is presented as an example of greatness, when in fact that whole episode underscores the types of deficiencies Cuomo is likely referencing.

This a-hole severely needs his arse kicked up between his ears. He just insulted millions of Americans who gave their life to build this GREAT country, both military and civilian, that he is more than welcome to leave. It's been some time now that I have felt this amount of animosity toward one individual.

I wish he gets the chance to explain this "FACE TO FACE " to the men in military who fought for this GREAT country. It would not be pretty.

Can you point me to a country with no "deficiencies" in their history?

Do you think this country isn't great or ever was great?

All you think about is race.

What are you without the racism of yesteryear that identifies you.. the racism you pine for?

Yeah and Europe has prima nocte the Spanish Inquisition literal nazis and Stalin I could go on and on. Instead I will say that every country has something in the past that by the current lenses is immoral. Name one country that has the achievements in a good way the last century as us?

No doubt. Jim Corw was bad. Point is we moved past that. in large part to guys like Branch Ricky and other Americans that stood against the likes of those laws and the people that implemented them. Jackie Robinson was a great individual that helped this country in a number of ways. Others stood with him. Focus on the negative and that is all you will ever have. This county had and always will have bad people. Regardless, good people are enabled to both rise above it, and or assist others in doing so. Does this make my stance on this picture any clearer?
