Because she is a TEACHER that believes the definition of a word is whatever she wants it to be.

Not only is it the most powerful country on earth, it is the most powerful civilization in earth’s history.

“Greatest” is necessarily subjective, but it’s pretty much impossible to dispute the height of our power being unparalleled

Of course it’s a fact and not really close honestly.

Progressive liberals will tell otherwise but that’s because they don’t want it to be

Fact.

When we start doing shite "because all the other countries do it" we start to become as shitty as all the other coubtries.

frick socialism. If you want it so much, take your pick and move.

Oh, you want to stay here? Then that pretty much makes the argument that the United States is the greatest.

Greatest is a very subjective term. Hell, Norway can make an honest claim to being the greatest because they are the happiest country in the world and they've got a yuge, really yuge, its the greatest, you're gonna love how yuge it is, rainy day fun set up thanks to North Sea oil.

New Zealand has a nice climate, a stable democracy, and a super heated economy in large part because the US backed out of the Pacific trade agreements and now NZ agricultural products are in high demand all over the Pacific Rim.

That having been said, and those are just two countries I'm using as an example, they aren't close to the US in terms of economic power. Even China will have to continue growing every year at their current rate for quite a bit longer to catch up to us and folks are saying that the Chinese economy is starting to slow down already.

Canada gets a lot of good press but its very expensive to live there, not only because of the higher price for goods but simply making it through a Canadian winter isn't something you can do on the cheap.

We won't even go into Canada only now, and very grudgingly, banning the use of Asbestos. For decades the Canadian government fought tooth and nail to keep asbestos legal both in Canada and abroad because Canada was a leading exporter of the stuff. And this is after they knew it caused cancer.

Greatest can be subjective, but by almost any standard you would care to use, yes, the United States is the greatest country in the world right now.

So fricking dumb. Y'all are so biased it hurts to read this sort of stuff.

The USA is the most powerful country on earth no doubt. If that is what makes it the greatest country on earth to you then thats it. Plenty of Canadians and Scandinavians wouldn't trade where they live for anything. My personal opinion is that yes we are the greatest and most powerful, and that both sides politically love the country but have vastly different ideas on how to continue. Hopefully that isn't too objectively reasonable for the poliboard.

It is a pretty simple answer. The answer is yes and why? No other nation on this planet has so many people from all over the world trying to legally and illegally immigrate to it and to better their life.

Why don't you pick which ones you think are better and move to one of them?

We are the strongest nation that the world has ever seen, and will probably ever see again.

We’ve only tapped into a small fraction of our natural resource reserves and haven’t truly flexed our full military might and we are already the dominant force on earth after only a few centuries of existence.

More people want to immigrate here than any other country and by a large margin, so it must not be too bad.

We are without question the most powerful nation on earth. Anyone who tells you otherwise is retarded. China will catch up soon though.

This is the most likely scenario

China might step on their own dick though

A good portion of their economy could be made quickly obsolete due to the increased mechanization of industrial processes

Well, powerful is one of those words that someone might want to play with the definition.........but, if we're simply talking "who can kick whose arse"..........it not even that close.

So yeah. Fact.

As for greatest, that's an even more vague term.

They migrate to our country, illegally and legally. We do no migrate to other countries, neither legally or illegally. This should answer your question.
