You’re confused still about what America is and why it is inevitable that we will be faced with the choice of preserving the ideals she was founded upon or losing them forever. TRUMP is temporary. Your inability to see beyond what happens after his second term is exactly why OP started this thread.

You've got it backwards. You're not looking ahead, at all. You're looking at pockets of morons and trying to forecast based on that. Neither you nor the OP has a finger on the pulse of this country.
And just where the heck do you get off saying your idea of handling this is "preserving the ideals" of this country? You've stated those ideals are gone, and that this country isn't worth saving. What kind of BS contradiction is that? You aren't interested in preserving diddly squat. I am, and so are plenty of others.
I'm already awake, and I don't mean "woke", and what that term has come to mean. Don't tell me to wake up. You can either fight, or you can quit. I'm not waiting around on folks like you to decide what I'm going to do.

The last two Republican Presidents lost the popular vote when they were elected. And if Californians and 3rd world immigrants from Central America continue to pour into Texas, the Electoral College is gone forever. When that happens, the left won't have to hide their socialist ideas behind a demented old fool like Biden. And at that point conservatives won't be able to express dissenting opinions. The media hates us. The political establishment hates us. The military brass hate us. But they have to tolerate us because we can still win. When that ends, watch out.
