It’s not America that isn’t worth saving, it’s the pieces of shite that don’t believe in America, and work every day to destroy her in their own little ways, that aren’t worth saving. At some point, even the stupidest republicans are bound to understand that we are at war with these people, and more importantly, that they have been at war with them for decades. At that point, they either reform, or suffer.

The "decades of degradation" have come from slow indoctrination, which have led people to allow their rights to be taken away. The awakening to this problem happened 4 years ago. If you can't figure that out, given the seemingly insurmountable odds he was up against, then you are comically ignorant to what's going on. And after the country has had a front row seat to see just what the establishment on both sides is about, the only people who are still fooled are the 20% who are total loonies.
