Change "should" to "could" and so what? Why should they be shamed for doing what they want if it doesn't harm anyone else?

I get what you are going for... But left off the forgiveness of sins and go and sin no more

How many elections has "the party of serious people" won since 2004?

What has this perpertually losing wing of the party done to EARN the right to lead the party? Or did yall just expect to inherit it from daddy?

Yall have had plenty of time, plenty of chances to win big elections, but have failed to do so. I'd say your place at the table is where it should be.

The more people realize that this isn't about left or right, but about restoring common sense and making rational decisions - then we can move forward. The country needs some sense of grounding again. It's been adrift for too long hyped on false promises issued by shysters in the media just trading the American soul for profits. We are owned by various corporations - whether it's pharmaceutical, weapons production, insurance, banking, etc. Americans, need to demand that we not get screwed in the process as politicians and multi-nationals extort our wealth.

This.

To hell with “conservative values”. Get back in the middle, read and embrace the constitution, it’s that simple

It’s not vote pandering - it’s “I’ve been brainwashed my entire life and hated racist republicans but I’m here to tell people that the Republican Party is the best thing that has ever happened to me in life” speech

A major brilliant move by Lara Trump

And there are some, and we have all seen it, that do not want to allow people to change and want them to remain the whire, the liar, the thief, the sinner... just so they can be self righteous.

I saw it last night. It was even raised here. On X it was Matt Walsh for one.

Some people who claim Jesus refuse to acknowledge that Christ went to where those people were. And his actions changed their lives.

It was a fun night, and I think the bigger picture is - if you are pro-life, you are not going to get an ounce of screen time at the DNC. I think most people don't agree with every damn thing their party stands for. It took some balls (or tatas) to get up there in the prime of her career and make that speech.

Why can’t people see that this is no longer your dad’s Republican Party? It’s now a party that accepts everybody

And will soon be pandering to everybody. I've seen this coming for years; the two parties are engaged in a complicated switch of positions on many issues. Much has already happened. Democrats used to oppose free trade; now they are the free trade party. Republicans used to be the party of religion. You can see that evanescing. Democrats are now the party of religion. For now, their religion is Woke. Republicans have abandoned any pretense toward fiscal responsibility. When the Democrats lose the black voters they might begin to oppose expanding the welfare state.

Welcome to the United States...California was a Red state up until the early 90s. Democrats ruled the Deep South until the late 80s for 120 years. Stuff changes.

Yeah, but Trump isn't Jesus.

Conflating a message of being a "sinner saved by grace" should have absolutely nothing to do with looking at numbers, the state of the country (domestically and internationally), and selling your candidate and the party's platform and vision for America.

Matt Walsh is the one disappointing people. He had horrible and damaging comments all night.

As a radically born again Christian, he is pushing people away from the Cross. He is demanding that sinners stay sinners and in their lane. And that is the
Pharisees way.

Priestly purity
The idea that Jews should adopt Temple rituals and priestly purity into their daily lives.

That is what Matt Walsh was last night. He turned people away from Christ by condemning them instead of having dialogue with them to present Christ. Instead he told them they were unworthy.

If you are going to argue the RNC should be pushing and encouraging these folks toward more wholesome, traditional morals and lifestyles, sure

I don't give a shite if this gal speaks at the convention or not, the Republican Party needs a more inviting tent, but Matt Walsh is right about this.

Being a PK, I can tell you that the only way to move people towards Christ is to engage them and allow them to see Christ.

The church has been off for a long time in that respect.

The message morphed to a "when you clean your life up on your own, then you can come to Jesus" .

Talk about the cart in front of a horse!
