In my town not far away, 3 cops shot a girl 20 times. Said she had a pipe.

Let me clarify it for you, the force used to subdue the perp was equal to, or one step higher (which is LEGAL) than that which was used by the perp. You might want to do some research on the National Force Continuum......
I would have welcomed cross-examination by a "defender" like you. I would have made you look like the complete imbecile that you are and by the way.....there was no need for Court, so it never went to court, because there was nothing done wrong.

I don't think there is anything wrong with a society that responds to this video with "Ok, maybe that's selectively edited, but the burden is on the police to justify what we see in the video evidence."

I disagree we can't pass any judgment at all until every fact is out. There is video of cops beating a man's head into the pavement. So yeah, the burden shifts.

Depends on whether he struck an officer. If he struck one of them, then all bets are off. It's arse whopping time.

Would you like a list of the differences?
I don't have a problem with violence, but the idea that some violence is justified doesn't mean that all violence is justified. What if one of the cops had stabbed the guy while the other two were holding him down? All bets are still off?

No, it is not arse whooping time just because a arrestee pisses you off. You can't legally punish them. Cops are not judge and jury.
