I am extremely conservative but do occasionally make the bootlicking arm of the party unhappy with my logical and unemotional call for police to be held to the same standards as the rest of us

Cops make their own rules to follow, cops make their own codes to follow, and cops investigate cops, or that’s how it was, that bullshite will be a thing of the past.
LE will be held accountable by the people that they work for. Too many rogue cops with a chip on their shoulder. If you go back and read, I said REPEATEDLY that there should be no rush to judgement until we knew the totality of the circumstances. Let me be Perfectly clear for you.....
I HAVE NO PROBLEM WITH THE WAY THE COPS HANDLED THE SITUATION. The perp assaulted the clerk, then he assaulted the cops, then he resisted arrest.
The perp created a volatile situation, by his own actions, and his own stupidity. The cops did what they had to do to defuse the situation.
