The gravity is the desperate dems creating straw men in a Hail Mary attempt at political damage to influence the 2020 election. And the guy leading the charge is obviously a personally troubled person who is making a mockery of the seriousness of the ridiculous charges. Would the president like to do some damage to his political enemies while upholding his sworn duty to uphold the law. Why yes, yes he would. However that was overrode by his doing his constitutional duty. You can't "not do your lawful duty" because it might harm the political possibilities of someone because they are running for office. Or refuse to do your duty because it might help you politically. But three things make this a political show:
* The senate will never convict.
* Trump was upholding the law by asking the Ukraine leader to investigate, not convict or find guilty the pretty obvious theft of tax payer's money. But reveal the truth. One way or another.
* The blatant dishonesty of the lead Dem is horribly inconsistent with any serious attempt and the "evidence" is all hear say. From the laughable "I don't know who WB is. Who is no WB since he is repeating hear say as well. To the child like fibber Schiff to his making a joke out with the so called parody. Where did they drag this fruitcake up from? This is a nightmare for dems. And the crime is them using a serious process to gain political advantage for 2020 which a leading dem, AOC, admitted today is the reason for all this. Stop Trump from being re-elected.

Are you really STUPID ENOUGH to think that a President simply asking for an investigation of a corrupt politico who is on video bragging about extorting a foreign government with U.S. aid so that the foreign government would fire the prosecutor that was investigating his Cokehead losers of a son who was engaged in completely unethical and almost certainly illegal( by any standard) -- is somehow "grave" and worthy of Impeachment?
