Looks like they loaded the whole room with whiners.
What were they chanting at the end?

frickin uncivilized savages.
Some blacks always have to be the loudest, rudest, and most foul mouthed in the room to get their point across.

After reading more about the meeting, it looks like their main point of protest was the issuance of the permit to the Unite the Right Group. I'm not sure of the City Council's role in allowing permits in Charlottesville, but when the permit was granted was there any legal basis for denying said permit?

No. They claim they tried to deny it, but federal courts overruled it, as they should.

If there was ever a time for a 24 hour purge its now...

So the mayor relies on cops maintaining order to prevent violence...as long as he's there. Otherwise it's politically convenient

At least the BR Metro Council can maintain order. That was a joke.

Yeah, the fascist sore loser lefty counter demonstrators used violence to try to kill as many right wing demonstrators as they could but they just didn't succeed in killing any.

So, the racist idiots DID have a permit after all.
So the point of this "protest" is to make sure NO ONE on with an R in front of their name can get a permit from this point forward. Probably for safety purposes now too.
Awesome.

^ more liberal "logic"
"trump is to blame for charlottsville because he said some naught7y things another time"
"the mayor who allowed to the police to stand down and not break up the violence as it began isn't at fault for charlottsville "

There is a time and a place for 'demonstrations'. During an organized meeting is neither the time nor place. These are the people trying to get things changed. How the hell do you expect your government to change anything if you're shutting down their meetings? Just idiots.
That's how they operate: disrupt things until you get your way. Just like spoiled children.

I thought it was to relocate them to a "more secluded" area that was easier to maintain/patrol.

Well if two groups of violent idiots get off of buses for a "protest" in riot gear, and your orders as leaders are to allow them to fight, then yeah, you should hold some responsibility when someone gets hurt.
I know accountability isn't a strong suit of team blue, that's how it works for those of us in the real world.
I vote they have their color blue rescinded and reissued the color pink, for the pinko commies they really are.

They said it themselves, they don't care about the rules.
I hope they care about the consequences when they come.

There are other consequences than getting fined or arrested.
If they don't care about rules, they are in favor of lawlessness. And if that's the case, the consequences are much worse than anything the courts could dole out to them.

I'd love it if everyone who wasn't a resident of the area would GTFO.
