Good. Why is the government paying for childcare at all? My kids are 4 years apart in age, because at that time I didn't feel like I could comfortably swing 2 in daycare for more than a year. I had no idea that the government was supposed to be paying for my childcare for me.

I'm not sure why taxpayers are paying for any childcare, whatsoever. The fact that it exists at all is theft.

This should have been done a lot sooner. It probably would have never been touched without that independent journalist and the amount of attention he brought.

You can’t put them in jail for not committing a crime. It’s not the Governor’s job to go audit child care aid recipients. And I’ll bet a dime to a dollar the idiots who audit do so on an appointment basis, giving the scammers a heads up to get kids at the nursery. It’s probably the same 100 kids being used as props at 20 fake nurseries.
