And they are moving to more easily accessible places. American Airlines Center is a disaster to get in and out of for any event.

I'm still trying to figure out how someone in Shreveport benefits from the State giving the Saints and Pelicans a break every chance they get.

I’m still struggling to figure out how the rest of the state benefits from Shreveport being a part of it.

The AA center was the only thing worth going to downtown. Good job by the mayor hollowing out your CBD.

Interesting...

I find it to be the easiest venue I can think of of to get out of after events are over.

Best part of downtown is uptown.

I guess if you don’t enjoy the spoils from the Shale money then so be it… know LSU has, especially the Athletic department.

I’ve been to about 23 NHL arenas around the league and - as much as I dislike the Dallas Stars - the AA is an awesome building and one of my faves.

What are they talking about doing with it when the Stars and Mavs split?

They are looking to move city hall as well. Big named stores are shutting down. Thats what happens when your gubment are leftests. They'll move Lew Sterrett jail across the river soon.

Ask the mayor. He doesn't seem the least bit concerned. His assignment was to turn the Dallas city limits into a progressive shithole and he is succeeding.

This is an absolute disaster for Downtown Dallas. The AAC is still a great arena but they only last 20-25 years tops in today's professional sports world.
There is no reason they couldn't find a place in the downtown area to build a new arena. They wanted to tear down City Hall & build it there, but the backlash was strong.

This new arena on the old site of Valley View Mall in North Dallas is going to be a traffic disaster. 635/Preston/Tollway area is already traffic hell & now bring in a new arena & things around it.
