Yes, mainly FEMA but there is still some sort of military presence although I'm not sure to what extent.

I have no doubt they can handle a quarantine. That is not my point. A doctor somewhere in the area is going to diagnose a case and then it is game on.

What happens to the equities markets if this shite gets out of that facility? Or at least is perceived to have gotten out.

Even if they do everything right? Is it worth a panic in equities?

Who does that benefit? We have plenty of islands and isolated military facilities. Instead let's bring them right in the middle of a red state.

The dems biggest problem is a strong economy. Can't believe Trump's people don't see this.

Feel the Bern.

The problem with San Francisco is that if people started passing out and shitting on the streets nobody would notice the difference.

If they have to bring them somewhere in Alabama, it should be Tuscaloosa.

Coronavirus is already here. It’s probably been misdiagnosed and treated (successfully) as the flu.

Why can't we send them all to Area 54?

It’s not the ‘being there’ as much as it is the ‘getting there’.

Is this the same passengers that California denied entrance? I guess only illegals get free and unfettered access to California.

Hell, by the time they get here the virus would have gone trough it course/life-cycle.

Just FYI, this place is the main training facility for chemical/biological weapons for the military. If anyone can handle it, they can.

I used to live in this area. The spot they are doing this to my knowledge is an old military base. Fort Mclellan. It’s a very strange place, basically a ghost town. Really good deer out there too that you can’t shoot.

I also grew up in the area.
My brother worked over at the Anniston Army Depot before and during the burning of the serin(sp?) gas.

It’s full of good deer, and all kinds of toxic chemicals.

Good looking deer but probably taste funny....

Funny story. My dad was riding his bike through there during his college days and rode up on a group of people in hazmat suits with metal detectors. He may have been stretching the truth so my teenage self wouldn’t frick around out there lol
