Abrams is bad enough. Bottoms is a placeholder mayor from the Kasim Reed crime family who had to eat shite after trashing Kemp.

Is Keisha always on bottom, never on top?

The reality is that there aren't a ton of widely likable black female politicians. Abrams certainly isn't one, although her demeanor isn't the worst. But I think any advantage she had because of that is gone due to the caricature she's made of herself by refusing to concede an election outsiders tried to buy for her and begging for the VP slot.

Keisha, frankly, is probably one of the more likable black female politicians with any national notoriety. But that's a low bar. As an Atlantan, her mayoral tenure has been...ok. Not good, but like Reed she's sensitive to not offending the $$$ too much and that keeps the crazies out of the picture for the most part.

But Bottoms has nothing else going for her. She was handed the Mayor's office by being part of Reed's cabal. She'd be a laughable VP pick on a substantive level. But considering the other options, if the campaign really is devoted to picking a black female, then she might rock the boat the least. In some ways she's a decent match for Biden - that ticket would be all about getting people to vote for them solely as a "decent on paper" option, rather than due to any specific platform, movement, etc.
