Well...the better action altogether would have been not to pull his gun at all, since the threat was over.
How could he know that, in that second? And what's the point of having the gun if he can't pull it when he feels his life is in danger?

But if he was going to pull it, he definitely shouldn't have been running at the other shooter, who was clearly fleeing, with the obvious intent of firing on him.
Why not? You guys lionize these 'samaritans' every fricking day on here. If he had done the exact same thing and shot the initial assailant before the cops got there, you'd be lining up to give him a congratulatory handy.

He clearly knew that. He ran away from the shooting, pulled his gun, and then turned around and ran toward the fleeing shooter. At least watch the video if you're going to comment.

Every indication is that Bradford and his buddy were bullying the guy who shot at them. You will never see me lionize bullies. He wasn't doing, or attempting to do, anything heroic.

and don't worry, there are plenty of us that will support the police in your community when they step up to protect people
Okay? What does that have to do with anything?

I'm not. I've lived in Bham my whole life outside of college, there is nothing in Hoover i'm missing out on.

That's nice. I'm not going to continue to discuss Bham v Hoover with you. Go hijack another thread.

This is the same argument for the cop

Notice there will be no roads closed due to protestors, nor buildings looted ... because this is Alabama and we have a proud history of not tolerating shite like that.

And because the family knows that the police officer that shot him is black.

Wait, I thought having an armed civilian in this situation would always be miraculously good for them.
Weird.
Nice try, count.
You’re not getting anybody’s guns. /story.

That supposes that the person in question is a decent human being....obviously this zhit-stain was a Democrat which means he was obviously mentally ill.

I've noticed you try to portray yourself as an intelligent person, yet the content of your posts betray you as a simpleton.....
....and I still don't have my sandwich...

This case will be shown at most CCL courses, hopefully, teaching what not to do.

If he had of, he would have laid his weapon on the ground until police secured it, gave his side of the story and gone home. Fleeing the scene of a shooting with a gun in your hand can and will get you killed.

Where did you see that? I can't make out anything about him on the videos.

I am not happy the kid got shot, it is a tragedy
but it looked pretty clear from the beginning that it was a clean shoot
Hoover cops were handcuffed and could not show the evidence from the start; but were THRILLED to show it to the family & their lawyers
this decision to clear the cop was a foregone conclusion
side note - my daughter turned 16 just before Thanksgiving
she BEGGED me to let her drive to the Galleria on Black Friday, told me I was unreasonable and mean for not letting her go (I did not want a new driver in that traffic on the busiest shopping day of the year)
would have been happy about my decision anyway, but the shooting that night caused me to give a prayer of thanks...

You find it funny that we don't allow illegal actions in our state simply because a mob is performing them?
