Was this video taken on the day he was shot?

We can ask mike brown.
They aren’t cops though.
Arbrey is stupid for grabbing the gun. These guys are stupid for waving them around and trying to play cop.
Like I said I hate me some real criminals so when they get shot and die I don’t care.
I also don’t really feel that bad when others make a bad decision.
They were smart to shoot him to save themselves but stupid to get themselves in this position.
So this story has a dumb criminal and two wanna be cops

Did they actually have evidence that he broke a law or did he just look like someone that did?
Under Georgia law, they had to have witnessed the law violation. They did not. They heard about it on a phone call and decided to grab some guns, chase him down, and unnecessarily initiate a violent confrontation while there was no current danger to anyone.

However, the two wanna be neighborhood patrol had no reason to chase and try to stop him with firearms.
They both deserve charges and should do time for their stupidity.
Meh. They were dumb but that black kid is dead because he was doing stupid things. He's the proximate cause of his own death and I really don't care at this point about the case
If he had really just been jogging then I would be all on board with putting those idiots in jail. And yes I did say idiots because they are idiots. But this kid had 100% control over whether or not he died that day.

1. No
2. No, if you're actually trying to apprehend the suspect. Yes, it's you want them to get away.
3. No but they're white so they're racist
4. No, the video shows he was shot after trying to wrestle away the shotgun.
5 No.
What do I win for a perfect score?!

First of all, only one out of every 5000 people
I see jogging is black. This is my experience and nobody can deny my experience.

the father and son had no business approaching or attempting to apprehend the perp, much less using lethal force. They should be prosecuted and if convicted will get what they signed up for

We’re not there yet, more evidence everyday

I don’t think many will disagree but that does not equal white people are hunting innocent black men like Bronnie and the fake news is saying.
Arbery was a criminal and the two whites guys are retards.
They are extra retarded after the trevon shite.

Lol except they witnessed his b&e with a hammer
They did not witness a crime leading to their chose to do the citizens arrest, According to what they told police at the time. He said he saw someone running and planned to confront him. Its an even shittier justification if you mean they killed him over a B&E that happened weeks ago lmao.

Another poster disputes this. Can anyone rectify the claimed factual differences?

You can laugh all you like but I know 100% how to avoid being shot because people find out in stealing.
It's not tremendously complicated

Yep, they sound like two hot heads to me. This whole thing could have been avoided. They didn't even witness it.

O.C.G.A. 17-4-60 (2010)
17-4-60. Grounds for arrest
A private person may arrest an offender if the offense is committed in his presence or within his immediate knowledge. If the offense is a felony and the offender is escaping or attempting to escape, a private person may arrest him upon reasonable and probable grounds of suspicion.

Attempted an illegal citizens arrest as they had not witnessed any crime... aside from it being an illegitimate “citizens arrest” there was no current or clear danger to anyone prior to the 2 initiating a violent confrontation.
McMichaels’ actions were justified under Georgia’s open-carry law, and a separate state law allows a private citizen to attempt arrests if an “offense is committed in his presence or within his immediate knowledge.” He also noted Georgia’s stand-your-ground law allows someone who feels threatened “to use deadly force to protect himself,” without having to first try to retreat.

When these situations arise, I am always surprised by the number of people who feel that extra-judicial execution is an appropriate response to a minor property crime.
