I saw a video recently that showed all service branches both enlisted and academies and it’s scary. The Naval Academy was Harry Potter level cringe worthy. I am completely convinced that China and Russia would steam roll our asses. The level of officers being put out think pedonavy74 as a local example. We are all fricked.

Affirmative action is a crippler but it’s too late to roll back that clock.

Bull. I made a comment earlier

"May you always be swift and accurate, ladies."

It got downvoted... Who in their right mind would downvote that if they're not rooting against them? It's their career path, they can choose, they put in the work, and they are fighting for us. Should be nothing but support here.

It's fine for women to be in any combat Arms, special forces, aviation, subs etc. as long as they do not change a single standard.

Affirmative Action has no place in the military; everyone with a brain knows this.

The military isn't a liberal arts College.

Different standards doesn't help this country, it just helps the person who benefits from it.

We still need to support these pilots, they are fighting for our country. The consensus on this thread sounds like we're rooting against them.

So you can oppose the mission but still support the troops? No, I fully reject that Bush regime argument.

This era of perpetual warfare and permanent occupation in distant 3rd world hellholes is a bigger threat to my personal liberty than any threat posed by any external military power. This indeed is one of the the primary reasons that Trump has been targeted by our nation’s wholly corrupted national security apparatus: Trump dared question the efficacy of these eternal wars.

I support the troops. I support bringing them home.

We're not talking about running 20 miles with a hundred pound pack on. If you've ever seen female gamers in action, you realize that with todays fly by wire systems we'd be retarded not to take advantage of half the freakin' population that might be better at this than damn near all our enemies.

You should stop posting.

Fraternization is what will ultimately destroy those units, and any sense of esprit de corps they had.

Women, as is in their nature, will use sex to get ahead, and the men, being men, will be happy to get it.

There’s also the question of barbarism. What kind of culture sends it women out to die.

It’s appalling, but we’ve long since lost our way. We’ve been become venal and depraved.

Your vision of a gender neutral military is grossly ignorant of human nature, and biology. It’s the a marvel movie fantasy.

You should watch fewer movies.

I agree with your sir. No useless missions and no exhausting resources unnecessarily. Bring them home.

However, my statement has nothing to do with this. I'm making the point that anyone of mental and physical capability to serve in any military branch should receive a patriot's support. Irrespective of gender or background, if they choose to train and risk their life for us, then our proper and worthy response is to shut the hell up and salute them.

That still wouldn’t erase the issues caused by sex and close quarters, which is why letting gays serve was also a bad idea.

It's literally no different than other jobs, people aren't fricking at work and all over the place wildly. Sometimes it happens, most of the time it doesn't.

quote:

People need to stop viewing the military as a jobs program that exists to provide equal access.

Why 3/4 of the military is logistics and support. It's a 9-5 job most of the time. And it 100% should be equal access to anyone who can met the standards.

That standard eliminates any and all women from service.

You’re approaching this from the “if they want to serve, gosh goly, they deserve to” angle.

The armed services aren’t a charity to boost people’s self esteem and make them feel good about themselves.

They’re killing machines, and we’re purposely degrading their effectiveness to serve a profoundly weird social engineering goal.

Mmm... You're an idiot.

If you think the future of aerial warfare includes human physical conditions, and god knows whatever hormonal one's you're terrified of, then you are a fricking moron. This isn't the 1800's. They didn't have AI assisted drones that could make human piloted planes look like a horse and buggy.

You are a moron.

My personal perspective on this is a brother that's an ex Navy Seal, and other family that are everything from Air Force Combat Air Controllers to a couple of Army rangers and Marine.

YOU sir are a detriment to us being able to do what we've to to do. frickin retard.

Standards that have been lowered to accommodate inadequate soldiers, sailors, and airmen?

Why do you want women to serve? What weird need does it fulfill for you?

Do you want to see our enemies capturing and raping female soldiers?

Oh, bullshite. Being against the concept doesn’t mean you wish them ill. If I don’t want some 240 lb male playing women’s field hockey because of how he “identifies” does that mean I wish him harm? No, I just think it’s a bad idea.

Well i'm serving as i type this right now, and yes after 20 years i do sit at a desk a good bit. So, well you don't know shite.
Sorry you think everybody is just rolling around fricking in the military anymore than 20 year old kids working anywhere else. Kids frick. I would trust most of the dykes that worked for me over the soft, fat "males" coming into the military these days.

Because of.....reasons? The mystique of the Woman and needing the heroic Man there to protect her is in general nonsense.

Well there is your logic on full display:

"No woman has the mental or physical capacity to serve in any military branch".

Clearly, I don't want a military free for all. That's pathetic. But give some credit to the ranking officials that are testing our troops competencies and ranking them. They are the gatekeepers and creators of standards to keep our military above the rest of the world's. They know a hell of a lot more than you and obviously disagree with your logic.

Again, the standards are there for a reason. Whoever meets them and is willing to serve will receive a salute with a shut mouth and gratitude.
